Located 6 km from Siena, the private (non-shared) country house have two whirlpools in the garden for a total of 8 people. It does not have a swimming pool. It's located in an exclusive position on the top of a hill from which you can enjoy a spectacular 360 ° view that embraces the Chianti area and the area of "Crete Senesi". The building, a typical farmhouse, is made of stone and brick with wooden floors and has a well-groomed furniture, with original pieces from the beginning of the century. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. The house is surrounded by 2 hectares of land with 350 olive trees.
The villa has a brick barbecue and 3x4 m wooden gazebo.
Villa Sara has an area of ​​250 square meters; large living room with fireplace; 5 large bedrooms with 9 beds, of which: 1 bedroom with two single beds, 3 bedrooms with a double bed, 1 bedroom with a single bed; masonry kitchen with oven, fridge, dishwasher, espresso machine, coffee maker, kettle, toaster; dining room; 3 toilets of which two with shower and one with large Jacuzzi, laundry. Free wireless internet.
We organize wine tours departing from the house with a minivan with driver, with tastings and lunch on a typical farm.
You can have full-body or facial massages at home.
The price is calculated for 9 people, you can add up to 2 beds with extra cost.
Linen included in the price. Heating and air conditioning not included in the price to be paid upon departure by meter reading (1kw = € 0.80 1pellet bag = € 12.00).
Tourist tax to be paid on arrival € 2.00 per person per day.

The location is a bit remote, if one wants to walk to a village or grocery store, but the incredible views from the property, overlooking the Tuscan hills and valleys are breathtaking! While the TV did not work and some of the screens were broken, the host was very responsive to all of our needs.

Peaceful stay

Property was easy to locate, not far from grocery store, lovely restaurant less than 10mins away. Surroundings were beautiful and tranquil. Heating worked well, kitchen well quipped. Owner was easy to reach and communicate with and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Our First Time in Italy

The property was a peaceful, quiet, rustic and nostalgic farmhouse. You can feel the love of this family in the furnishings & decor. Comfortable bedrooms & spacious areas to relax & socialize. The views are truly amazing and you will never tire of this beautiful scenic scape! Siena can be seen in the distance. Ricardo was a wonderful host & very responsive to anything we needed including giving us recommendations for local dining, great wineries, and notable attractions in Siena. We loved our stay & and our first experience in the Tuscany region. It was a great place to begin our Italy adventure!

Beautiful

It was everything and more than we expected. We arrived to a beautiful dinner outside, that Ricardo and wife prepared. The dinner was delicious and the views were incredible. Ricardo would always respond with any of our questions. I recommend booking wineries. That was an amazing day. The house accommodated 10 adults very comfortable. I highly recommend and when we come back we will book again. Thanks again Ricardo for making our stay wonderful!

Perfectly located for day trips in Tuscany. Ricardo was very nice and helpful. Really appreciate the heads up when there was localized flooding in Siena!

Great place with amazing views

Very spacious and the views are just beautiful. Ricardo is helpful and communicative. Very close to Siena and about an hour from all the major sites. Would definitely recommend this place to stay!

Stay at Villa Sara

We (two families of four) have had a wonderful ten days at Villa Sara - amazing views, well equipped and spacious Villa, easy for several trips to Siena, and accommodating and helpful advice from taxis to tours with Paula. We would love to return.

Fantastic location

Lovely house, plenty of space and fabulous views. Location was perfect as a base for exploring Tuscany. Riccardo was super-helpful and quick to respond to any queries. He had some great suggestions for trips, restaurants etc. We certainly plan on returning.

We had a wonderful stay here. The owners communication was great, very helpful to all of my questions. Arranged dinner twice for our family at the villa that was amazing! We did not rent a car and regretted that afterwards. Even stull, the owner arranged a ride for us to the grocery, bank and pharmacy! So very helpful. Highly recommend!

Two Wonderful Weeks in Tuscany

The villa was clean and comfortable but what we enjoyed most were the views especially the sunsets. Having a glass of wine while sitting on the terrace was delightful. The kitchen was adequately equipped and the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Ricarrdo was always available to address our needs and answer questions. We took day trips to Florence, Siena, Pienza, Chianti region, Montepulciano, Volterra and Vinci all within 75 minutes drive from the villa. We were able to get all the groceries we needed at the COOP about 10 minutes away.

Picture postcard view!

The view from the property is fantastic and could not be beaten - you can watch the sun set over the towers of Siena in the distance. The pool and deck were a perfect place for chilling out and catching the sun, and we had all of our meals on the terrace, which has amazing views but enough shelter from the sun. 5 adults and 3 children spent a week here and we were very comfortable - plenty of space and facilities, and the air conditioning was an absolute bonus given it was 38C for the first few days. Riccardo could not have been more helpful, coming over on Saturday evening to change the configuration of the beds, giving us recommendations of places to eat nearby, and even texting us details of how to watch the Palio on TV! A wonderful week.

Picturesque Hilltop Villa

Myself and 3 women friends spent the first week of October at this beautiful villa just outside of Siena. The villa was clean and comfortable and well cared for. It was more than spacious for the 4 of us--giving each of us our own bedroom and 3 full baths was a plus. In fact, the house is large enough for a big family or a few couples to share. The living space was great for relaxing and comfortably furnished. Perfect for friends or a family to just hang out or share meals together. We especially liked the location which allowed us to make day trips to Siena, Florence, Montepulciano, Arrezzo and other nearby towns. The people in the nearby town of Casetta were friendly and welcoming. We found two local restaurants that were very good. Riccardo was very helpful, giving us suggestions of things to do while in the area and where to shop for food and supplies.. He even arranged for us to have an authentic Italian cooking class at the villa in the well equipped kitchen where we cooked breakfast every morning. The villa sits on a high hill so the view was amazing. We were so busy we didn't take advantage of the pool, but it would be great for a family with kids or just for relaxing. We would all welcome the chance to go back to this wonderful house on the hill.

A castle on a hill

One of the most phenomenal views you will get in the area. Renting this place is definitely just worth it for the incredible pictures you’ll get. This house is on a hilltop just off the highway and it’s very rustic and authentic. We rented in the winter which proved to be a little difficult because were used to the way Americans heat their house versus how Europeans heat their house. But we were able to overcome that pretty quickly. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cutlery. The beds are very comfortable and there are heaters in the room to keep you warm. The host is extremely responsive. I will take issue and not give five stars because of the problems with the electricity. Please keep in mind that this was during the winter and we needed heat, which would draw a lot of amperage off of the houses’ electricity grid. I would expect to have a dishwasher and stove to work at the same time without an issue or blowing out a fuse in the house. But it seemed to happen a lot. Unfortunately, the house is not wired properly that it could allow multiple appliances to be activated at the same time. I think this is a huge drawback and it needs to be fixed. Be that as it may you will not have this issue in the summer unless you’re running a lot of fans. I would definitely stay here again!

Host was very responsive to our needs and questions. The location is exceptional for viewing sunsets and the skyline of Siena. We used the villa as a base for day trips to Assisi, Florence, Siena and wineries. The house itself has comfortable community space and bedrooms are very comfortable. We cooked our dinners in the villa in which the kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommend to those who want the quiet of the countryside.

Grande et belle maison

Maison très spacieuse, propre, bien équipée et idéale pour une grande famille. Les chambres sont grandes et belles. La climatisation fonctionne bien (attention c'est un supplément au prix payé). Bien située en hauteur, avec une vue magnifique sur la campagne toscane et Sienne. Un petit défaut, non cité dans l'annonce: la proximité de l'autoroute à 200m...Pas trop dérangeant, mais il vaut mieux le savoir! En même temps, ça facilite l'accès à la maison. Un autre défaut c'est le chemin d'accès en terre qui était en très mauvais état lors de notre venue Procédures d'arrivée et de départ impeccables.

This property is perfectly located near Siena and centrally located to many wonderful Tuscan towns. Wineries are all around. The property has fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Very comfortable home. Mr. Coradeshi was very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this property.

Great vantage point to see the countryside of Italy outside Siena

fit our family of 7 comfortably with room to spare. was tricky finding the place but once found, it was a perfect vantage point to relax and see the beautiful countryside. I would definitely return if given the opportunity.
