Everything was as expected and property was clean and unique. Definitely would stay again. Note: if you are a light sleeper as I am. This may not be your first choice. The property is on a corner and there is heavy truck traffic that seems to run all night. Because of the age of the property it is not so soundproof from the road noise.

Excellent stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming and beautiful one bedroom loft. Every convenience you could ask for was present. Take a visit to Jon Henry General Store next door for fresh meats, produce, pastries and apple butter, jams or jellies. Great place to capture canoes , gifts you name it.

This apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was centrally located to the activities we had planned during our visit. When we realized we were going to be late checking in, accommodations were made to make that process easy. Anytime I had a question our host replied immediately.

Well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Historic general store and market next store to apartment. Easy check in & out. Off street parking available. Coffee shop across the street and multiple restaurants within walking distance. Will stay there again for future trips.

Awesome place to stay!

I traveled to Shenandoah national Park and it was struggling to find the best place to stay since the park is such a long park. I’m so glad we chose to stay here. It was a very good location towards the middle. That was also very close to the Luray caverns. The home itself was so nice and spacious. I really like that there was a full kitchen so we could cook instead of eating out the whole time..

My only complaint cannot be helped and does not overshadow the good, and that is the street is very busy and noisy. Having said that, it was fine with a white noise machine. The apartment was as described. Very clean and well stocked with coffee. Comfortable king bed. Easy on-street parking. Host was a great communicator!

My family has been in the Shenandoah Valley for five generations. I enjoy hiking the numerous outdoor trails throughout the Valley. I've been to all the regional caves, too!

I am kept pretty busy running the Jon Henry General Store, next door to this property. That work has led me to meet many of the regionals farmers and food businesses.

New Market historically was called Crossroads because it's centrally located in the Valley. I enjoyed living here because I can zip down to the city of Harrisonburg or head up into the Fort Valley for hiking, drive over to Rappahannock County to visit family, or head north for more local flare. Most essential needs are within an easy 30 mins from New Market. I can also travel via i81, RT 11 or Rt 42 or Rt 211. Lots of travel options from New Market.

This property was formally a hotel from the early to mid 1900s. It was previously called the Weaver Hotel. I am excited to revive the property's historical usage with some modern flare. It is a nice accent to the General Store, welcoming folks to the Valley.

In 2024, we received the Top Tourism Business in the county from the Chamber of Commerce.
