We were able to check in a little early. House was wonderful. Pool out back was amazing. Close to the beach, restaurants and other things to do. If/when I make my way back to Manteo. I will definitely be looking to stay here.

This was a true VRBO gem to find! The home is so well cared for and you can tell they take such pride and ownership of their property from the gardens outside to the beds inside everything was pristine. It felt like being at a fancy private resort. Our children especially enjoyed petting the horses and swimming in the heated pool. Recommend 10/10 if we could!

My family loved staying at Brinkley House! The home was beautiful and just as fantastic as the pictures. We had plenty of space to spread out and relax. We enjoyed games around the very large table and watched movies in the living room. We also greatly enjoyed the pool! All of our favorite OBX locations were easily reached from staying here. One of our family members is looking to book next summer with friends. The hosts were very responsive to all messages both before and after the stay. Beds were comfortable and the house temperature controls in each space made it easy for everyone to be happy!

We had a family emergency that unfortunately prevented us from actually staying at the Brinkley House. But the host was very gracious and understanding. She even gave us a partial refund, which she didn’t have to do, but was greatly appreciated. Before and after booking, she was very responsive and answered questions quickly. We truly hope we will be able to stay here sometime in the future.
