This suite was one of the properties that actually looked better in person than the pictures. I wish I could give 5 stars but the property lacked basic necessities and cleanliness which would make the stay worth the money. The bathroom lacked any full body mirrors or outlets which required my wife to get ready in the bedroom on the couch or outside on the balcony. The bedding was another concern. The sheets did not feel fresh or soft, almost as if they were cleaned 3 weeks prior to our stay. We both developed a painful skin rash that I can only imagine came from the spa located on the balcony. The water had no odor of chlorine and had a weird taste when accidentally ingested. Additionally, there was no tv on the property which would have been nice for relaxing mornings. Parking was a disaster for our golf cart. We could not locate any assigned parking for our room which resulted in our cart being moved around or blocked in. We located empty Coca-Cola bottle and cigarette butts near the spa upon our arrival. What we enjoyed most about the property was the views from the room, the private beach with lounge chairs, and the 24/7 security. While the property has great potential and we did enjoy parts of our stay, it felt like the space hadn’t been fully thought through from a guest’s perspective. Addressing these basic issues would make a big difference in the overall experience.
