About this space
We invite you to stay & experience all of the beauty that Lake Whitney has to offer. Located in a quiet neighborhood atop a bluff, the lakehouse is spacious enough for a group of friends or family and has a panoramic view of the lake that is accessible (this will count as your exercise for the day!) for swimming or fishing. If you'd rather stay on dry land, hike at Lake Whitney State Park or play a round of golf at White Bluff Resort-both just 15 min. away.
The space
The home is casual & comfortable. It provides a great place for a mid-day lake break after soaking up the sun. In the evening fire up the grill, play a round of horseshoes, then settle in with a glass of wine on our spacious deck to experience the most beautiful sunset around. It's just as stunning in the winter-just enjoy it from the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace inside. Winter stays are all about making memories. Playing games inside & roasting S'Mores are sure to please the kiddos, and a trip to Magnolia Market at the Silos is well worth the 40-mile drive.
Whether you call it antiques or hand-me-downs, the lakehouse is filled with an eclectic mix of furniture that creates a relaxing environment. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities for preparing meals, & with two dining tables & an eat-in bar, there's plenty of space for "the kids table". Free WiFi & a firestick are provided when you're ready to watch a movie or catch up on work or social media. Come nighttime, everyone will have their own bed to settle into since there are 4 bedrooms & 9 beds. And although there are only 2 bathrooms, 2 of the bedrooms have vanities with sinks, so there's plenty of room for everyone to get ready to start their day.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home, including the back yard and hike to the lakefront.
