Beautiful location

The location is excellent with trails right behind the house to all the cool shops in town. The view of the ocean is amazing and there are tide pools right there. Dog friendly was a major plus! The house is a little funky but very comfortable. Look forward to staying there again!

Large fenced backyard for dogs. Easy access to Trail 804. Amazing sea views, Walking distance to Yachats cafes, gift shops. Easy parking next to house.Suggest upgrade on bed linens. Towels were top quality. Keurig coffee maker, but no pods.Drip coffee pot but no filters or starter kit coffee grounds. Five forks. Rusty spatula on outside grill. Deck furniture need’s replacing.Did not use downstairs much as the views were upstairs.There was mention of bringing firewood but unclear as to where to use it. No fire pit, fireplace or stove. As native Oregonians we are used to rustic, but would encourage furniture upgrades.

The house is very unique! At times we felt like fish in a bowl because there are no window coverings in the main living aresa and a major walk area goes directly in front.

Love the location and the house

We've stayed here in the past and love it, however, it had been a while and it definitely needs some TLC, dead bolt completely rusted, dishwasher inside was not so great, and no instructions about the heat, very different temperatures in different rooms. Hope some things get repaired as we would love to come back. Thank you,

Views upon sunsets

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Ocean views outstanding. Sunsets amazing. The home is older with a need for some updates and maintenance. However, these pale when you consider the view and proximity to downtown. Walking distance.

Comforts of Home on the Ocean

This place was a great getaway for some much needed coastal time. Peaceful neighborhood and you can watch the waves crash across the ocean while enjoying a glass of wine on the coach. You can hear the waves all ugh and it’s amazing. The place is. I let decorated and maintained especially for the cost. I love the feel of the place full of warmth and comfort while you gaze out to enjoy nature at its best.

Furry family included make it perfect. The fenced area in the back yard sure is handy for the dogs quick outdoor needs. The house is eclectic and fun!! The view is spectacular. The Fireplace is a must and so cozy. I wish I had brought some christmas lights along to festive up the outdoor patio. Although the weather was mostly rainy, we had a great time, made use of the excellent home theater space and the nice kitchen table for board games. Everyone had a beautiful Christmas. Thank you for sharing your unique home.

October getaway

Mostly clean. Mold in upstairs bdrm shower. Two lights upstairs broken. Both tv’s were not connected and no directions on how to use the Roku tv. Sink in downstairs bathroom drained very slowly-we fixed it. No hair dryers. However location and views were amazing. Screens and blinds are needed upstairs. Blinding during sunset Also

Your house was perfect for us- grandparents, daughter and 2 grandkids. Loved the view and quirky vibe. A few maintenance items: Refrigerator freezer not cold, fan and coil may need cleaning. Main electric wires to house have broken support cable- dangerous and could cause a fire. Replacing weathered front door would make a better first impression. Just FYI.

Yachats vacation stay

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Yachats and have stayed in our Yachats home many many years. This year our home was very dirty with sandy blankets, cobwebs everywhere, not enough dishes and many things in the home in disrepair We were disappointed.

There are definitely pros to the house, we like the ocean view, the idea of an outdoor space with an ocean view, it’s kind of unique and Yachats is a fun little town with a community feel. The cons this time were maybe outweighing the pros. The house and especially the deck need work. One of the large glass deck windows looked like it could just fall out. The deck was dirty, the ocean view windows were dirty, the chairs were broken, the bbq and tools are in bad condition. We had to clean and sweep. I really wish houses would furnish a few basic cleaning supplies. There were broken glass string lights with a burnt plug strung across the deck. We rented the house for the view I just wish we could have enjoyed it more. The outside needs some cleaning and repair. Also the “new” couches downstairs are pretty uncomfortable. I did reach out to management about garbage day and never got an answer to my question.
