In addition to the area, you mentioned South Congress, there are abundant shops & restaurants also on the other parallel street South Lamar and on the street just to the north on the way to the lake, Barton Springs Road. Thanks a bunch for the review. I have walked and biked from my house to ACL’s Zilker Park numerous times before. There is a big spring feed pool onsite that is lots of fun as well. Some of the neighbors’ yards along the route can be particularly unique and/or gorgeous depending on the flowers in bloom.

Thank you for the great review. I enjoy doing this. It makes me feel like I have a boutique hotel. Hopefully you got a chance to sit out on the deck amongst the trees and enjoy a wine or coffee in the morning. Hopefully you saw the black Ferrari on the top of the hill, at the end of the street.

Many thanks for 5 star review. I never thought about it, but we do have great parking in my neighborhood. Thank you for pointing that out. Yes, please come back anytime. There are other races too at the F1 track. I love watching Le Mans type “street cars”, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Porsches, Mercedes, Vettes as well.

Thank you very much for the wonderful review. Sorry you had a wee bit of trouble with the parking. Access for more than one vehicle I can see would be difficult. My place has a large elm tree which complicates additional parking. But glad you found parking near the park a minute or so nearby.

Thank you very much for your review. I am saddened and unhappy you didn’t find the place wonderful. I would like to address your concerns if I may please. A. Communication: I found your friend’s profession, a seaplane pilot intriguing, and spoke too much of it. I do apologize. B. Garage drums: I am perplexed by the drums. I do not play drums nor own drums. And no one else has access. I know of no drums in the area. In the park downhill there has been a saxophone player, but I’ve never heard drums and never at an inappropriately time. A possible explanation would be your stay was during our Austin City Limits (ACL) festival, soundcheck begins around 11 AM??? C. Futon: thank you it has been replaced. D. Sheets: you are correct they have been replaced. E. Towels:: I checked all the towels and wash cloths in the bright sun. I could find no stains. However, all towels have been replaced. There are, however, numerous cleaning towels underneath the kitchen sink next to the cleaning supplies and yes, those are stained but clean from the washing machine. F. Dust: I am guilty here. The place sat empty. You were the first guests for the season. I should have foreseen dust accumulation on all surfaces. It has been thoroughly cleaned G. Kitchen: cleaned as in above. Regarding disorganization, I am still trying to come up with something, I do have utensils mixed in with one another. I will look for a skinny organizer for the drawers.
