Staying at the Chateau was great. Spacious, clean, and fully furnished with dishes, pans etc. The icemaker in the freezer was fabulous! It made enough ice to fill a small cooler everyday. Loved that the couch reclined on both ends. Having cofffee on the balcony every morning added to the experience. The location was within walking distance to both downtown and nearby beaches. The host, Fred, was very welcoming, responsive and friendly. We enjoyed talking with him. Overall, I would recommend this unit.

Nice place and location.

We loved the place, it was perfect for the 2 of us to get away to Aruba. We are not much on the resort life and enjoyed many of the local beaches, cooked many of our own meals enjoying the local fish, etc. in the kitchen. The property is comfortable and well maintained. The owner was out of town, but Martina was there to greet us when we arrived and offered help with our laundry or anything else we needed. We loved the location being close to the center of the City, but also close to the water. We had a great stay and enjoyes all aspects of our trip.

Very nice

Very nice and close to downtown shopping area and cruise ship terminal, would have been 5 stars across-the-board had it been closer to a nice beach.

Excellent place in Aruba steps from the ocean

This was our second visit and we love this place. Fred, the owner, has many wonderful stories to share of his life that are so interesting. He has a true hospitable spirit. We were safe in this beautiful home and as soon as we stepped on to the sidewalk we were staring at the ocean across the street. Save yourself thousands and stay here. Go to Super Foods and stock up on groceries for your stay while enjoying the Aruban sunshine the rest of your time there. We cooked rice, potatoes and hard boiled eggs for quick & easy nourishment in between our ocean walks and other activities we enjoyed, like seeing the beautiful butterfly garden, driving through the other side of the island that is wild & beautiful, meandering through the flea markets. Come stay at Fred’s place. You will enjoy every minute and you’ll appreciate that extra cash in your pocket afterward! Feel free to ask me any questions. I’m happy to answer.

Wonderful!!!!!

We lived in Aruba in 2003 and have been back to visit many times. I saw Fred's Villas advertised as I was considering a place to stay. Everything I read about this property sounded great and it was!!! Our villa was perfect and with a wonderful balcony to rest and enjoy the breeze!! We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. A home away from home. Fred was away(look forward to meeting you next time Fred) but left us in the very kind capable hands of Martina his assistant. She checked on us daily to be sure our needs were met. Thank you Martina!! The property is very close to downtown. We had a car but walked the short distance to any place in the downtown area. Great restaurants so close!! Beautiful views of the sea and a smaller beach across the road from the Villas. Two casinos a walk away.

Excellent value and experience!

This was such an ideal place for us to stay for the week in Aruba. Right across the street from the ocean. Very affordable. Very nice place to stay. Clean and roomy with beautiful light and a nice outdoor table to sit at in the mornings. All the utensils & dishes along with pots & pans are provided for you. Coffee pot, toaster, microwave are there. You may want to bring extra hangers if staying a week. This was such an enjoyable stay for us and the conversations shared with Fred were wonderful. He is an extremely interesting person with such great stories to share about his life experiences. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at his wonderful vacation rental. Thank you Fred! We love you! ❤️

We were more than pleased. First stay in Aruba and we definitely want to go back 🧜‍♀️

Owner couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful from Condo to advice on where to go to grocery stores restaurants beaches etc. His housekeeper was excellent she couldn’t do enough to help us. We will definitely go back. Accommodations were very comfortable and just across the st from the beach and ocean 🌊.
