The shuttle took us to the gate of the well kept building which is very well located in town, but because I had not checked in yet (no available way to do it), I didn't have the gate code to gain access, so we were left at the gate with all the bags in order to walk thru the parking and then get into the building. Once inside, I called to the phone number listed at the door for check in, but nobody answered, so I had to look into my mails for another number. When I called, I was told that I had to go to the nearest opened office which was half mile away (302 Hanson Ranch Rd), so with the in-town transportation not operating, I had to take a walk. The employee at the counter was a little uncourteous when I told him that walking 0.5 mile to check in after a long flight was quite unconffortable. The unit was in good conditions; however, I found some hair in one of the bathroom's sink. The kitchen is quite small but everything works fine, so it is good enough for cooking if desired; utensils and silverware are quite poor. The two most unconfortable issues have to be with the BBQ and some men working (hammering, drilling, etc) since 7am until 7pm on Monday; we called Vail Realty 4 times to complain but nothing happened until my friend went to the apartment right above us and asked the workers to stop. The person at Vail Realty did not want to provide the number for the property manager. Later on, we found out that the apartment where they were working is also administered by Vail Realty, so I guess we got a good picture of how they wanted to handle the situation. Last but not at all least, has to do with the BBQ available at the balcony, I tried to use It to make some steaks, but when I opened the gas valve I heard gas escaping and gas odor was imminent, so I immediately closed the valve and then tightened the regulator flare nut, I opened the valve again and I couldn't hear gas escaping or smell anything; however, because I am extra cautious, I went to get a wet sponge with soap and for my surprise, the hose was still leaking at the clamp (I have pictures just in case someone asks), so I had to say good by to the bbq in order to avoid an accident and used the two pans available.
