If you’re in Franklin for baseball, this house is a much better stay than one of the hotels in town. 3 miles from the fields, private area, plus everything you need. Washer/dryer, plenty of beds, fridge and kitchen. Host is very communicative and was gracious on check-in times for us which was very helpful considering our game times. Walking distance to food and coffee. Highly recommend this place.

Communication was great. We needed a place to stay for my son’s baseball tournament, this how was prefect for the weekend, 5 min from the park. Quiet location, very charming house. Will definitely keep this house on my favorites as we come often to Franklin for tournaments

Franklin baseball trip

Tom is a great host, very responsive and great communication. Perfect place for my son and I. Great local food options like New Baden General Store and Sargento’s as well as Pony Express in Hearne. And for coffee, Jitters is next store! Awesome location, 5 minutes from the ballpark. Will definitely stay here again.

Very clean and cute little cottage. Amenities are great. Cute coffee shop and donut place within walking distance. Worth a note that the only bathroom is inside the twin bedroom. Loved the pullout hidden in the king bedroom. Super comfy and a great addition! The host is very helpful.

Perfect getaway for Baseball

We stayed here twice now while playing in the Franklin spring baseball league. It was the perfect spot especially for the early morning games or anytime you didn't play back to back. Easy to shoot back and rest between games. Super comfortable house and surroundings.

Houston/Dallas meeting spot

My girlfriend from Houston and Dallas are always looking for midpoint locations for quick weekend trips. Tom's place fit the bill. It was a perfect spot for catching up, playing games and enjoying the ice cold air conditioning in the July heat! Tom was super responsive and quick to answer our questions.

The house was charming and spotless. The host was responsive. Entry was easy through a coded door handle. The living room had a roll out bed which was helpful.Unfortunately, the house is near a train track and a very loud train with horns blaring came through around 2 and 7 am. Also, be aware that the only bathroom has to be accessed through one of the bedrooms.

Franklin, Texas baseball getaway.

My son was scheduled to play in the baseball league out in Franklin, Texas over the weekend. I was in a bind to find a place to house the two of us and our dogs. The host was willing to let us have 2 pets (1 more than the allowed number). The house in in the center of Franklin and only 5 min from the park. It was the perfect spot for our needs and I will be looking to rebook next time in town when the whole family can come.
