Welcome to your private Seattle retreat in the heart of Maple Leaf! This top-floor Craftsman apartment blends 1920s charm with modern updates and thoughtful details. Relax in the oversized cedar hot tub, grill dinner in the fenced front yard, or stroll to nearby cafes, Safeway, and Maple Leaf Reservoir Park. With air-conditioned bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, blazing-fast WiFi, and plenty of kid- and dog-friendly amenities, this home is designed to make you feel both comfortable and cared for.

Guest Access:
You'll have sole (exclusive) use of the entire upstairs apartment and fenced-in front yard with hot tub/dining area. The front yard and all its amenities ARE NOT shared with anyone else!

The laundry room is located in the basement and is shared by the downstairs listing.

Other Details to note:
Below you is a basement apartment that I rent separately that has its own private entrance around the back side of the house. Because it’s an older home, noise can transfer easily to the unit below you so keeping noise to a minimum during quiet hours of 10pm-8am is very important to me.

You're welcome to use the brand new double set of LG washer/dryers in the basement but please be aware these are shared with my downstairs guests and/or used by my cleaners in-between guests. You can access the laundry room by opening the deadbolt door to the basement, walking down the stairs and down the short hallway and the laundry is to your right.

Clean, cozy, comfortable and convenient place. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and Lee was communicative and clearly invested in us having a good stay in his unit. Using the hot tub was welcome after the two day drive to get to Seattle. The unit is outfitted with everything we needed to be rested at the end of some busy days of sightseeing.

Our stay was so great! We immediately felt comfortable and at home at this cozy abode. It was fully appointed, with thoughtful touches like bedside wireless phone chargers, extra toothbrushes, q-tips and makeup remover wipes. We loved the decor and the cozy reading chairs in the corners of the living room. We only got around to using the hot tub once due to our somewhat busy schedule. It was divine! Lee was super responsive and attentive and gave great restaurant recommendations (Ray’s seafood was wonderful at sunset!). The house is an easy walk to Green Lake and the surrounding shops and restaurants.

Friendly Bungalow.

This home was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and walkable to restaurants, Greenlake, and groceries. The private, fenced yard was lovely and perfect for our doggies. The host was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book it in the future.

Such a cute property! Also one of the most well-appointed vacation rentals I've stayed in. Everything was extremely well organized and labeled. Loved the Roku auto-logout feature! A very adorable and cozy home, and I loved how private and secure the yard was for my reactive pup. Would definitely return!

TRULY turn-key! If there was only one word to describe the entire experience, the essence of the home, is : THOUGHTFULNESS. I’ve stayed in close to 40 VRBO properties all over the US and abroad and if you do your research they’re almost always great - but THIS home stands head and shoulders above in HOSPITALITY . We actually felt like WELCOMED GUESTS not strangers passing through.They had EVERYTHING you could ever need…well equipped kitchen that we really used and needed! Keurig, w awesome selection, powder room with great towels, toiletries - including packages of toothbrushes for those late night arrival oops moments! The communication was 10/10, kind and prompt. As were: Cleanliness ( huge in my book!) Comfort, ( an excellent eye for detail in providing comfy blankets, throws, pillows, robes, super nice mattresses, mindfulness went into comfort, even the whole layout of furniture and tv-ease) The hot tub was an amazing touch after a cold rainy day outdoors, the private fenced yard was perfect for our pup friendly stay! The neighborhood was so cute, walkable and easy access to light rail and highways, restaurants etc) We felt SO welcome! What more could we ask for?!! Thank you Lee!!

We had a great stay at this property in the Maple Leaf area of Seattle. Lee was a very attentive host, responded quickly to communications (and checked in to make sure we had everything), and we found this was the best equipped rental property of any we have stayed in over many years--essentially everything we needed was present, including backup toiletries, ample outlet/USB charging in every room, coffee, cereal, books, games, etc. Additionally, multiple labels throughout the house made it easy to use the right light switches and operate appliances, and the laundry facilities were clean and easy to use. The property is just within a lovely residential area, with nice walks to two different parks and walking-distance coffee shops, a great brewery and some restaurants. The property is close to a couple major roads that are more business district and less residential, but the fence and yard make for a cozy haven and noise was not an issue. One advantage to this proximity is that the Safeway is only a block away. All in all a very good experience for us and we would definitely rent from this host again.

Overall our stay was pleasant. We took a family trip with our 2 kids and dog. Having a home with a yard was convenient with our dog. We went to walks to Green Lake which was maybe 10 minutes in the car. We took our own crate and crated him when we went out. He was just fine. Our dog is pretty calm, and we felt comfortable with him being left behind. A doggie bed, blanket, doggie dishes and towels were left out for our dog. We only used the doggie bowls, but appreciate the hospitality. The beds were also comfortable. I think both were queens and the AC kept the house cool in the end of June when we visited. Our family enjoyed the hot tub. Lee, the host was very communicative before, during and after our stay. There was complimentary tea and coffee to enjoy. Pretty much all the things you would need were in the home and we felt safe and secure. There is no on site car parking, but we parked on the street directly in front of the house and felt safe and never had issues with our car. There is a cupboard directly above the stove which doesn't stay closed. I closed it and saw it open again which freaked me out a bit. We figure out it doesn't stay closed. There were all the things you'd need to cook in the home. We shopped at the Safeway nearby, which was a less than a 5 minute walk. If we ever go back, we will definitely consider staying here again. I'd recommend to anyone wanting a nice, quiet and clean stay, especially if you have a doggie.

Lee was an awesome host! The house was nice and had everything we needed for our stay. Bbq was great! Nice and clean ready to grill. The yard was nice for the bbq dinner and our dog love having a place to run around. Location was great. Close to coffee and restaurant as well as public transportation. Lee gave us all the details to us public transportation to get to downtown Seattle. Wonderful host made our stay very nice.
