My partner and I built Malaya Lodge as a peaceful escape from the noise of everyday life—a place to disconnect from screens and reconnect with what truly matters. I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, and spending time in the mountains, which is why hosting this cabin feels so special to me. We chose this spot because it's close enough to Panama City for an easy getaway, but far enough to feel like a completely different world. The area is surrounded by lush forests, fresh mountain air, and the sounds of nature. One of my favorite things is waking up to birds singing and the mist rolling through the trees. Plus, there's a hidden waterfall nearby, making it feel even more magical. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking to slow down, unwind, and embrace nature.
