Fully renovated 1935 Carriage House. This is a 2nd floor unit (13 stairs) with an off street, dedicated parking spot. Full kitchen including Keurig and coffee, full bathroom featuring a claw foot tub, this space has all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Fast wifi and Roku TVs, work and dining space.  Located in the heart of downtown Gladewater, you can walk to dining, shopping, and our many antique stores here in the Antique capital of East Texas. Fits 2 adults + 1-2 small kids

I've stayed at a lot of places, and this one is definitely a favorite. The hosts were great, it’s super clean, has a comfy bed, and is in a perfect location. I even loved the train sounds. I had everything I needed and would happily stay again!

Loved our one night stay at The Carriage House. We were late arriving but the entry and stairs was well lit and the booking, arrival and departure were simple and seamless. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Very small. But we had most things we needed. Decorated cute. Bed was comfy. For those who don't like steps. There were 13 and rather steep. We found plenty to do and would like to go back

We are glad you enjoyed our little town of Gladewater and had a pleasant stay. We are careful to put front and center in our listing that there are 13 steps up to this unit and also the square footage is posted as well. We hope to host you in the future.

The location of the Carriage House is spot on for enjoying the town. You can walk to all the downtown highlights from the house. The location of the house leads you green views although you may hear trains while you are visiting. The trains are noticeable but NOT annoying or disruptive. The carriage house provides all of the basics you need for a short stay. Owners were accommodating with an additional need we had in a timely manner. Owners also excepted feedback for small additional items which might provide comfort for longer stays. The stairs are NOT steep as previously mentioned in a different feedback post. I recommend guest bring some bath salts and carve out time to enjoy the claw foot tub.

This Carriage House is part of the Jeter Farmhouse which was built in the early 1900's. We have been lovingly restoring and renovating it since November 2023
