We just came back from a week stay (Feb 7-14, 2021) in this cabin. To our "unexpected" surprise we found that in the Master Bedroom the main window does NOT have a window covering. I called Glenn about this and he said to go to the closet that there was some cardboard there to cover it. I told him that that is unacceptable! And he told me that I was the first person in four years of VRBO to complain about this! I told him I should be compensated for my PAYING the FULL price of a totally furnished house. He then continued and told me to look around in the drawers for some sheets for me to cover the window! Then Elizabeth got on the phone and said how can we get this fixed? In the meantime, my daughter climbed up a chair and put whatever sheet or cover we found to get the privacy needed for this window. Then she offered to have somebody come over the next day to see about it.....that is NOT the case! This should have been taken care of before we arrived! On another note, YES the kitchen is equipped but very messy and poorly organized and with sooo much stuff that when you arrive with the groceries for a week stay, the cabinets are soo FULL that there is no space to store but to have everything on top of the counter. And as a suggestion, the furniture in the main living room should have SLIPCOVERS so that they can be washed and be ready for next guests (specially since dogs are allowed here to stay) ! And lastly, just want to point out (not that we needed it ) but we couldn´t start the fireplace even following the instructions.
I must say on a lighter note, that the cabin is well situated to visit small towns like Ellijay, Dahlonega, Helen, Anna Ruby Falls, Carter´s Lake, Amicalola Waterfall, and just enjoy the view.
