Sunday to Saturday - 6 night minimum rental. Escape to our private 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage nestled on the tranquil south end of Monhegan Island. With sea breezes, a welcoming atmosphere, and peaceful surroundings, this is the perfect place to restore your spirit.
Wake up to ocean views from the balcony, stroll through our lush gardens, and explore 17 miles of scenic hiking trails just beyond your doorstep. The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and all the charm you'd expect from a coastal Maine retreat.
You're just steps away from island favorites like Monhegan Brewing Company, Lisa’s legendary lunches at the Bait Bag, and fresh pastries and coffee from Monhegan Coffee Roasters. Visit local artist Alison Hill’s studio just steps from your door.
Whether you’re seeking solitude or island adventure, our home offers the best of Monhegan — and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Monhegan is our favorite place on earth and it was a dream to have a home here for more than 20 years. We got married here in 2006 and have been coming to the island every year for more than 20 years. In 2025 our dream came true. We love sharing our dream home with others. We plan to live here full time in the hear future but until then want to share the summers so that others can experience Monhegan. We do live here in the winters - you'll be staying in a HOME not just a vacation rental.

This home is unique on Monhegan - lovingly restored by Emily Morse (still the caretaker on the property) the home itself is a work of art. Crafted in the style of an English cottage the home is comfortable and full of sun and inspiration without being stuffy. In our humble opinion it is the BEST rental on the island.
