Charming Rustic Off-Road/Off-Grid Log Cabins on BWCA Wilderness Lake!
Sleep at the edge of the wilderness in these 2 cozy log cabins. This wooded lakeside camp features 2 queen beds, 3 bunk beds, and 1 daybed, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. With wood stoves to keep you warm, indoor and outdoor kitchens, and a lakeside sauna for relaxation, you'll have a tremendous time exploring the woods and lakes from this adorable getaway. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place.
Our camp is off road, off grid, on the edge of the BWCA. 2 cabins, sauna, outdoor kitchen pavilion, fire pit, beach and dock on Fall Lake near Ely. 20 minutes to town, 3 million acres of wilderness out the door. Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

Really nice location, easy paddle in . Private and spacious with swimming , fishing at your front door. The sauna made for an excellent experience with the cooler weather. The cabin was stocked well beyond my expectations! This is a great spot for those who want a taste of the BWCA without the portages and roughing it . Would highly recommend to others.

オーナー : Joseph Laur James and Jenna Boyd
I grew up in Wisconsin, and these cabins in northern MN were our "up north"! I restored the lakeside cabin in the mid 1980's, and built the upper cabin on the hill overlooking the lake in the 1990's. This is my soul place to rest, fish and swim, paddle and hike, and try out creative new projects. 5 generations of my family have enjoyed these waters and woods, and we are preserving the legacy for future generations.
