Newly renovated "On the Rocks" Cottage is built into a rocky hillside which accounts for many of its quirky features including laddered, low ceilinged, loft bedroom spaces and multi level yard spaces outside.
The main part of the cottage has an open floor plan that provides plenty of seating and dining space all with panoramic views of the pond. Featuring a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room with cathedral ceiling. Bedrooms include one downstairs and two laddered loft (low-ceilinged) bedrooms upstairs.
Outside areas feature multi level outside spaces, starting with a walking deck that leads down a few steps to a large spacious deck, ideal for barbecuing and outside dining. Go down a few more stairs and find the fire pit area, perfect for campfires, roasting marshmallows, entertaining or peaceful solitude overlooking the lake. Then move on down to a very private dock, built into the rocks, enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding or just relaxing. Cast for trophy smallmouth bass right off the dock. Enjoy your morning coffee on the dock and see stunning sunrises, a serene and peaceful way to start your day. Early in the morning the water is often like glass reflecting the clouds and the sunrise.
Get out on the water either via the canoe and kayaks provided with the cottage, or book a guided fishing trip or a sunrise or sunset cruise with Eagle Mountain Guide Service.
