The apartment is located on the first floor with easy access and a nice view to the pool. Before your arrival the entire apartment is extremely cleaned and sanitized. Has two bedrooms, with air conditioner, closets, a lamp to read, a desk to work and premium quality linens.
A beautiful kitchen with: a grill, a fridge, a large coffee machine, a blender, a microwave, a toaster, and oven for pizzas and meals, and also cutlery, dishes and a pot to cook. (there is no hot water in the kitchen)
I give you soap for dishes.

The bathroom has everything you need: toilet paper, towels for bath and beach, soap and shampoo.
The cozy living room has a tv with netflix!! Which you can also watch resting in the hammoc in the patio.

High speed WIFI in the apartment and normal WIFI in common areas.

There is a private laundry area, with a washer and dryer for your use.

You have a safety box to storage your belongins.

The apartment is available for five people only, no visits are allowed.

As a guest in this complex you may use all the common areas:
Our large pool with a dedicated lap lane, a thatched roof palapa for barbecue get-togethers and bunks to lay down.

The 4th floor rooftop terrace is where you will experience some of the most amazing sunsets and views you’ll ever see, enjoy the sea breeze and you’ll suddenly realize you’re living in your own personal paradise!

The night lighting at Playa Chacá has been specially designed with soft lighting that gives the property a magical feeling... everything you need for a truly romantic evening!.

Playa Chaca is 20 minutes from Mérida, is very easy to arrive from the airport just take a taxi and in 50 minutes you will arrive.

Great little resort

We had a wonderful stay at Playa Chaca, the host responded r.a.w. Beautiful view of the pool area on the main floor. Comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. We walked to downtown Progresso a few times. Thoroughly enjoyed the area. Highly recommend.Thank you

Elena is the Best!

This property is lovingly maintained by Elena. We felt like welcomed guests, and spent our days around the pool and walking into Progreso. When we come back, we will stay in the same unit!

Nice Condo

Our stay was good there was a few items that needed attention the owner was quick to respond and resolved our issues. Pool was very good the toilet was very slow flushing and no hot water in kitchen had to boil water for dishes.

Overall the stay was somewhat below average of what one would expect when picking a property for 20 days. The room was as described except for plastic furniture, sofa that was only seating for relaxing that was extremely uncomfortable, could be better equipped with some garbage bags, and other supplies. Numerous occasions of spiders and cockroach's in the room. We never left the doors open let alone the screens. There are no locks on the windows at all. The fact of no hot water in the kitchen or laundry could have been in the listing. Property is set up more for a day or two.

Mi familia y yo disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estadía en este complejo, me encantó la tranquilidad del lugar y las palmeras alrededor le dan todo el ambiente paradisiaco, mi lugar favorito acostada en la hamaca en la terraza y la alberca,especialmente por la nochecita, recomiendo el uso de repelente para estar en la terrazita porque sí hay mosquitos aunque tambien había unos hermosos colibris merodeando las flores junto a la alberca! El mar está a una cuadra, aunque el área de playa no es muy grande, para disfrutar del mar preferimos ir al malecón donde sí hay una extensa playa y que lo están dejando divino, ahora va a ser solo peatonal, excelente para dar una caminata por la tarde-noche, imperdible la foto junto a las letras de Progreso y del lado opuesto por donde está la feria también está muy bonito, para caminar, montar bici (ahi las rentan) imperdible la foto al final del muellecito junto al tiburón y el pulpo.El departamento está muy lindo, limpio, olia rico cuando llegamos, tiene todo lo necesario en la cocina, la distribución, la decoración, nosotros fuimos en coche y fué fácil moverse alrededor, el contacto con Elena fué fácil, cordial y siempre respondía rápido.Fuimos por celebrar mi cumpleaños y pasamos unos días muy lindos, de relax que es lo que yo buscaba. Y volveremos!

departamento muy cómodo para viajar con bebé

La limpieza de la propiedad esta excelente, tienen cafetera y algunas cosas de cocina que ayudan a no llevar cosas de más como sal o aceite. El check-in fue muy cómodo, así como la salida, al estar en planta baja fue ideal para viajar con un bebé.

Un bel endroit..isolé

Très beau mais isolé.. en effet il vous faudra un taxi ou un véhicule pour vous rendre au centre ville ou faire votre marché ainsi que pour rejoindre une belle plage. La mer, tout près, n’offre pas une bel plage entretenue. Loué pour un mois j'ai du quitter 3 jours plus tôt à cause de travaux et du bruit chez le voisins, J'ai demandé le remboursement de ces trois jours et cela m'a été refusé.

Great location to Progreso or Chicxulub

Nice apartment property that housed my husband, myself and our infant. Head out the gates and make a left to the ocean, it's right there. Great food that's walking distance or a 7 minute car ride to Progreso where you can walk the "boardwalk" area. More Great food and drinks and beautiful atmosphere.

Snowbird in Playa Chaca

Elena’s condo is just as advertised. She is a lovely host who always answers any questions promptly both before and during our stay. The location is literally steps from the beach but a bus ride (8 pesos) into town. Elena’s condo is on the ground floor with many palm trees surrounding it. We did not need the air conditioning at all, there was always a breeze and the patio was in the shade.

Everything we wanted...

May be a bit long but want to share what our thoughts are about playa chaca and area. First, we would have stayed if we could! Quick 45 min ride from airport for about 650 peso. Met David at the gate, check in easy. Found our way to the rental. First impression, clean, nicely decorated and felt comfortable. Kitchen cute, fridge, stove top(no oven) blender etc. Couple fry pans and pots. I would have loved to have a toaster but managed. As well there is a small two cup coffee maker, not a deal breaker but would have loved a normal size (need my coffee in the am lol). Sweet eating area, nice to have some water waiting. Run out, no problem 30 peso and jug, David will look after you. Tv, lol well we figured that out (not the condo issue by all means, but my bad Spanish 🤷‍♀️) but it was all good before we figured and after. One double bedroom we used as our suitcase and change room, the other king was super comfortable. Had to use air conditioning to sleep only, the one in the bedroom was great, can’t comment on other two as we never used them. We don’t care for air and would ask for an osculating fan next time. We loved the balcony area and spent most of our time out doors there. Darn little no seeums enjoyed chewing on our legs but think the fan would take care of that as well. Pool area and actually entire grounds are very clean and well looked after. We spent a couple evenings finishing our wine on the rooftop. View is so nice and the breeze... pool area - what can I say? We had it mostly to ourselves! I understand it will be a bit busier later but very clean, looked after and lots of seating. Walked to town about every other day, good walking distance. Groceries, restaurants and so many helpful friendly people. Felt safe both at playa and there. Elena out host was always available for us. Within it seemed minutes she always responded. Very kind and knew the area. If we had any problems , which there were nothing with the condo just us learning, she was so quick to get us help. We are already planning for next year.

Yucatán is a paradise for foreigners who want to escape the cold and re-invent their lives in a place filled with warmth, wonders, exotic nature, culture and comfort.

Playa Chacá gets its name from the famous Chacá tree (also known as Gumbo Limbo) - an endemic tree from Yucatán. The perimeter wall of our large property is not cement, but instead an eco-friendly fence made entirely of this tree. The perfectly lined up trees are the wall!! This creates an interesting mixture of natural life with modern and comfortable structures that give Playa Chacá its magical feeling.
