Lovely holiday,but won't come back until American Policies change

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was a little dated with some damage to the floor and patio glass etc, However, it was well equipped and clean. Sadly we will not book for next year until America is a more stable, democractic society.

Perfect Location

Second time we've stayed at a condo in Hale Kamaole and you can't beat the location! This unit was wonderful! We never got the wifi to work and the access code was a bit hairy (we were arriving late) and got the correct code from the owner but a different code from the rental office. It all worked out and we had a magical stay!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a very comfortable unit in a good location on the property. The exterior blind was very helpful in keeping the afternoon sun off the lanai. The only issue I had was that the LR furniture is not the same as shown in the photos and the photos should therefore be updated. There is a very large sectional in the LR which takes up a lot of space and means the main floor has a less open feel and traffic flow isn’t as good. Otherwise a great spot.

Love the location of the complex, great to walk into town, and walk to beaches too!The only disappointment was we were not told at time of booking that the tennis courts were not in service. But it was still a wonderful stay! Would definitely return.

A few complaints... not enough beach towels, no dishcloths(bought some at target)broken:beach umbrella, boogie boards and drying rack. No containers with lids(bought baggies and Saran Wrap). Master bedroom a/c not working well. Staff was very friendly. Pool area very clean. We really enjoyed our holiday!

Location and Grounds Beautiful

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we have stayed at Hale Kamaole. Due to our first experience we chose to stay again. Grounds are beautifully maintained. The condo very very dated. Internet: DSL totally worthless. 19 coffee cups!! carpet dirty, not one cupboard to put food in, one very wobbly chair on the lanai (why 5 chairs?) no unbreakable glass to take to the pool, contact paper in lower cupboard half off, one kitchen towel. Good things: washer dryer, plenty of beach towels, good ice maker, nice art work on walls. Someone needs to pay attention to this unit. $500.00 a night is a bit much for something so run down.

Great stay!

This condo was a great little getaway for my family. The beach toys/chairs/shade tent in the closet are all a great added bonus. There is a playpen in the unit, I contacted them prior to arrival to ask and was told there was not, and to rent one- so we brought one, but found one in the closet. Wifi is awful but if you call the front desk they help you out. We had no dish soap and only one cloth, but the staff here are amazing. I asked a cleaner for some soap and she brought up soap and sponges. Overall great stay and we will be back!

Reviewer Comments: Our stay at the house was decent, the place was clean, there’s a really nice view from the balcony, definitely a great location!Unfortunately there’s always a “BUT” word.... The wifi didn’t work AT ALL, the unit we stayed at, has an extremely old internet provider and the hardware they have is extremely old. The service provider doesn't even exist on the island anymore. The office staff was willing to help but there was only so much they could do. They logged us into a neighboring unit but it barely worked. The units air conditioners need to be updated, they barely cooled the rooms and some of the living area but it definitely needs a third unit for the living area. The windows in the upstairs bedroom didn't close fully so some of the air escaped through there too. The sheets on the sofa bed were left dirty inside. There wasn't any towels and we luckily found them in the dryer. With some updates the unit would be perfect, but for the money that was paid everything should have been better. I think they either lower their rates or refund some money back.

Liked the location across from Beach III. Good parking close to until. On-site security patrols in dark hours. Felt safe at all times. The check in process was easy and helpful.Condo was adequately appointed and decorated. We used the kitchen a lot and everything worked. However, the internet was marginal, could not connect to our SSID, so we figured out how to connect to another closely unit WI-FI. An IT tech checked it out couple of times but never sure it was working, but we go by. Old DSL system was slow with four uses.Air conditioning is by a small window type in each bedroom, They just did cool adequately in mid-80s outside temperatures. Plenty of fans in rooms to help. Washer and dryer worked.Beach amenities were good for beach chairs and a cooler but no umbrella.. Plenty of kids beach toys.

Great location Unit needs renovations

The location in Kihei could not be better. The view is so much more amazing than the pictures show. The condo is run down. The carpet is dirty and some of the appliances don't work the best. The toaster burnt everything. The air conditioning is subpar as well. Overall, the location and the well manicured property make up for any deficits that the condo has.

Washington to kehei

We had a fabulous time in kehei! Being close to the beach in this beautiful condo contributed to this! Our family of 6 fit great and the activity shed had all we needed for beach days especially sand toys and a shade tent which helped with naps on the beach!
