Reviewer Comments: The unit is in a good location on the property (close to beach and pool). I was pleased with the kitchen appliances and tools available. The drop down shade on the lanai was used daily because the unit faces the sun and warms up quickly. I was disappointed in the pull out sofa as it did not have a usable mattress pad. I had to sleep on pillows to prevent myself from sleeping directly on the pointy mattress springs. I communicated my concerns to the front desk but did not have anyone resolve the issue. Because of that, I would only recommend this unit for 2 people and not 4 since the sofa is not a comfortable sleeping arrangement.

Spacious with generous kitchen supplies, beach gear, etc.Only issue was the living room TV had a buzzing noise that wouldn't go away. We didn't bother management cause we really didn't use it anyways.

The grounds are lovely and the staff, esp Brian(or Kevin, forgot his name) Keoni, Zaldy very helpful! The unit was nice, clean..could use a lil update but was very comfortable. It was just us girls & the sofa bed was hard to open so one of us just slept on the couch. Would defintely stay again and recommend to friends!

The beach chairs and the beach umbrella are in a bad state. Most of the chairs are not usable or falling apart. The kitchen ha one very small pot and one very large pot but nothing between. We noticed that the much needed foam top for the hide-a- bed was badly torn. We had to buy beach towels because there were only 2 as well as only 1 face cloth.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this particular condo #220 many times since 2006 and have always been so happy with it. However since there was a change of owners we have definitely noticed a decline in condition of the condo. This time, (and I must mention it has been about 5 years since we stayed in this condo)we were well aware of how the furniture is generally worn out and soiled now. The carpeting was in need of cleaning. The stocking of lawn chairs was very disappointing to say the least. The original chairs from years ago are still in the closet and are all torn and unsafe. There was 2 newer web style chairs but they are heavy and awkward to carry. I would encourage the owner to visit the condo and do some general updating. At the least, the property needs a deep clean. I would still recommend this property due to its great location and the staff. They are great!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is alright. But the beach across the street is more of a park with a very small and rocky beach. You will need to walk a few blocks to get to a beach. The closest places to eat are about a mile, so unless you want to walk quite a distance. The condo is plenty spacious. But only the bedroom has air conditioning. The rest of the condo can be stuffy unless you have both the lanai door and the front door opened to create air movement. It was too hot and stuffy for my son to sleep on the make down sofa. The wi-fi in our condo did not work. And there were ants in the kitchen and bathroom. We called the office, but did not receive any assistance.

Well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.Only one issue, for some reason, the internet service from the units router would not work due to an "incorrect password". So, we used an adjoining units signal for our stay, but that should have been fixed.Overall, we like the Hale Kamole units very much, and will return sometime soon.

Some basic amenities were missing ( a mix up with telephone services... and some household items could be updated) however there was a change in ownership of this condo so I am certain things will be worked out for future bookings. We could actually see the whales jumping in the ocean from our Lanai...Hale Kamaole is a lovely cooperative community to stay at...lots of green space, pools and close to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. Bus stop is close by if you don't have a car rental - there are lots of amenities within walking distance. Great place to relax and enjoy the wonders of Maui...

The description is accurate, there is truly everything you need to have a relaxing and comfortable vacation. The kitchen is fully stocked to create beautiful meals, the bed is so spacious, and there is plenty of light in the living room. It is on the 2nd floor of a 3 tiered building.
