We were given instructions to go to 2nd floor but it was occupied. The apartment was dirty, the shower curtains were dirty and there were no cleaning supplies. We replaced the shower curtains and mopped and cleaned the bathroom. There were some droppings in the bed I had to sleep in. The towels and wash cloths was flimsy and there was no washer and dryer as advertised. So we had to go buy towels and wash clothes. The refrigerator was filthy, the floors were filthy and there was a smell in the entire house so we had to mop the entire house. The blankets were past dirty. All of the furniture was like it came from Goodwill. It was chipped, broken and dirty.The other occupants of the upstairs kept us up partying and running up and down the steps all night, which I reported to Zach. And people banging on the door in the wee hours of the morning.One of my family members dropped his wallet and when the people upstairs left Saturday morning we are convinced they found it because right they left some attempted to use his credit card. But because we didn't see them take it we cannot say. Overall we made the best of the stay but spent a lot of money on things that were supposed to be there and time cleaning before we could get comfortable. We just asked for safe and clean and we got neither. Would not recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Easy access to the highways etc so we could explore Detroit and surrounding areas. Staying in different VRBOs around the country we found there were minimal supplies in the kitchen... Most places will have coffee, tea, and some food staples. Basic cleaning supplies would be helpful too, to clean the kitchen area and bathroom. There were 4 bath towels but only 2 hand towels for 4 adults.We would suggest to also have wash cloths. In the kitchen to have a sponge, dish towels, oven mitts. Aluminum foil and handiwrap are good too. For safety reasons the smoke detector batteries were not replaced. We appreciate your understanding that I had accidentally packed your towel .. and I am sending back. As we were using a towel we had brought from home in the kitchen. We just wanted to include some suggestions, thank you for reading this. PS In the description of the kitchen there is not a coffee pot but an item to heat water. Lol
