We love the laid-back pace of life and the friendly nature of the local Balinese people. The authentic culture of Bali (that is often lost in Bali's south) is in full flow in Amed.
Know for its world-class diving waters, Amed is a must for anyone looking to explore the under water world. There are so many dive spots off Amed's coast, with each location offering clear visibility and unforgettable experiences.
The tropical scenery and towering hills surrounding Amed are simply breathtaking. A gentle trek to the Laganghan Sweet viewpoint really puts our meaning as humans into perspective. For the more adventurous, a sunrise hike to the summit of Mount Agung brings enlightenment to those in search of change and inner peace.
