We spent most of our time at the beach during the day and the cousins spent time in the pool at night. The room was clean and perfect for what we needed:). Any communication with the host was prompt. The extra bonus was the on property laundry. We had a long drive back home and having the opportunity to pay for us to do clean our laundry for our 23 hour drive home was a blessing!!

Affordable, Clean, Quiet

Great affordable stay for a single person or a couple. Description was accurate, location felt safe. During my stay, all other guests I saw were 60+. Nice choice if you are visiting family but still want your own space. When I arrived the room had a bit of a musty smell that lessened a bit but didn't completely go away. But I don't know how long the property had been closed/unoccupied before my arrival. Also, there is not a fence around the pool that must be fairly new, because it is not in current pics. Great for safety, just a visual observation! Top faves: The bed, the lights on the headboard, great shower pressure. I wish it had: A caddy in the shower, a full length mirror, drawers to unpack clothes into.

Cute and Comfortable

Great place and great location. We loved the room and the area. Very cozy for a couple. mini refrigerator worked well, shelves moved easily to accommodate our needs. room was clean and nicely stocked with everything we needed. Lots of extras- beach towels, beach chairs mini cooler bag, even extra bath towels and coffee. Everything we needed. Only a couple very small complaints- the bed sets at just the right height to remove your toenails if not careful, I wore my tennis shoes in the room to prevent this from happening. and getting a parking spot can be a challenge at night. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return myself. thank you for a great stay.

Just as described.

It was small but had everything we needed. If I had a complaint it would be that I would stub my toes on the bottom of the bed frame as it was not tall enough to get the end of your feet underneath it. Who knew that would be an issue?

Property description was accurate as advertised. Good location. Only challenge was size of refrigerator. It was a “dorm” size mini-fridge, therefore no real freezer. Otherwise the unit was great.

Location was good. Property is old but maintained, except the room I was in mildew/mold in the bathroom can smell it as soon as you walk in, very tiny bathroom. No toaster. Very dusty, dusty bunnies on the ceiling. I received a call a couple hours before check in that they were moving me from the room that I had reserved back in March to room.

First time at Royal Orleans

property was fine, small cozy place, nice very warm pool. Unit needs some improvements: better mattress and pillows, more towels, additional paper products, instructions for tv. would stay again but choose a different unit. Convenient walk to beach and restaurants.

Great pool !

Nice facility, great pool but this unit is very small. The refrigerator barely worked took 24 hours to freeze the ice cube tray and there’s no ice machine on the property and no place to store ice if you bought a bag. Washer and dryer’s had a lot to be desired.

Small condo, for our longer stay, was too small. Some updating would be required as the interior is dated. Bed was OK, but again be part of the updating.

TV didn't not work properly. Asst. Mgr. brought a new remote that worked for one day. Water Heater needs to be replaced....I complained about lukewarm water....supposedly turned up, but was still not sufficiently warm for shower. This unit needs to be updated.

Clean, quite and great location

The property and the room was extremely clean and the location was great for walking to the different restaurants. The parking as all the parking at the beach was a challenge. If possible bring your smallest vehicle.

The place was exactly as described; it has charm and flare!! Pictures didn't do it justice. Clean, beautifully decorated with just a short walk to the beach. Everything you need was available. Public transportation within a block, excellent dining and local bars to go to. Looking forward to coming back!!

Great stay!

We definitely prepared ourselves for a studio. So that wasn’t a shock which we read in reviews was the bad thing. But the bed was big and comfy, enough space for just my husband and I and we didn’t have plans to be inside a lot. It was close to trolley stops, beach access, gas stations and a gym. There is laundry on site but bring quarters! The pool was super nice and it is just a mini fridge so we aware of that too. The host company was so quick to respond and extremely nice. Thank you!

Quaint and great location!

This was the perfect place for a long girls weekend with my daughter to just relax! Safe location, clean, all amenities we needed and a short walk to the beach access across the street. Great restaurants close by including the Sweet Sage Cafe--great breakfast! Pool was perfect temp, area was clean and quiet. Quick drive to other areas including St. Pete and the airport (PIE). Check in/out was seamless, there were even 2 beach chairs/beach towels in the room, and the bed was comfy. Thanks for a very nice stay!

Overall great, we love this property!

Everything was really great overall. We love staying at Royal Orleans. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever stayed on during a vacation or at a hotel/VRBO. The a/c and fan worked great. There was notice that the place was sprayed for pests however we did encounter 1 little guy that was dead. I would just recommend making sure that was removed by the cleaning people. My only recommendation is maybe getting new beach chairs, as the ones they have were pretty old and rusty. Other than those two things I would still stay here again !
