This is a great house on a beautiful lake for a large family to experience quintessential Minnesota lake life. The home is well equipped and large enough to spread out. The large sofa in the living room was a big hit! There are 2 bedrooms downstairs (1 with a queen, the other with a queen and two twins which was great for parents and 2 small kids). Upstairs is another queen room with bathroom and a nook with a twin trundle bed. The upstairs loft has a futon bed and a large sofa for extra sleeping. The boat lift was perfect for the J&K fishing boat and the other side of the dock accommodated a pontoon well. The zebra snails were annoying and we found that keeping the little people out of the water by the shoreline and flouting/swimming off the pontoon in deeper water minimized the swimmer’s itch situation. We had one little guy that had over 100 itchy bumps! After the fact I read that washing with a bar of fels naphtha soap immediately after getting out of the water every time will reduce the impact. Worth a try for sure. Overall this place was fantastic and many memories were made with 3 generations. We enjoyed every moment. Lastly, Mason was the perfect host! He took care of every need and responded immediately to all of my questions. It was a pleasure and we are grateful he shared his home with us.

Beautiful place - the pictures don't do it justice. They have new living room furniture that worked for everyone to be together. There was an extra bedroom (so actually 3) we hadn't planned on having so didn't need our blow-up mattress. The only thing missing was having a pontoon to tour the lake on. Hopefully next year we'll own one. Kitchen had just about everything imaginable to use. We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.
