Nestled in a serene setting on acres of farmland, this fabulous retreat offers a peaceful getaway for guests looking to unwind and relax. We hope you enjoy what our place and downtown Franklin has to offer. Fire pit, corn hole, and local trails for biking and hiking. Right off exit 22 on 93, close to lakes and mountains.

Never heard from host on how to get in. Sat in the driveway for 1/2 hr wondering what to do. Finally checked door, it was unlocked. Never notified of this process.Cabin needed a good cleaning. Floors needed to be swept and washed. Entire place needed to be dusted. Extra pillows and blankets just thrown in a closet. Kitchen not straightened out.Shower rug was stained. A white facecloth was brown with stains.Grounds were unkept.

Lovely NH Getaway

We had such a smooth, seamless experience here. Such a beautiful area with so much to explore! Everything was comfortable and clean, and bug spray firewood was provided so we had such an easy time. Will definitely reccomend and return!

Mario's house is in a beautiful setting. It is quiet, surrounded by trees and so relaxing. The inside of the house is simplistic, spacious with a nice size living room to relax. Give the time of year, opening the windows made for a lovely breeze coming thru the house. In its simplicity there was some amenities lacking- only one silver spoon (and one plastic spoon), one sharp knife, one ceramic bowl available. For a house that sleeps more than one person, would be nice to have additional silverware. Very unusual in this day and age to have a house without Wi-Fi, and the cell service is terrible. I tried to message Mario about difficulty locking the door, and message was not able to be sent. Luckily figured it out. All that being said, I would return in the future.

The cabin was not very welcoming on the outside. No flowers anywhere, The immediate grounds were not raked and there was stuff strewn around that made it look ill-kempt. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness on the inside. There was everything that you might need. I was a little put off by the furniture that was covered with sheets or blankets. I wondered why they were covered? I moved a footstool in the bedroom to get closer to the mirror, and found someone's belt on the floor. In the morning, the top shelf of the fridge was filled with water. 2 of the stove top burners were taped over and didn't work. That was certainly not a problem for me but a little off-putting. A/C in bed room only. Again, not a big issue for me. When I was just about ready to take out the trash, Mario knocked on the door and said, "Two minutes to check out!". It wasn't a friendly way to bid farewell to a paying guest.

Nice place to stay, great area. Really enjoyed using the outdoor fireplace and the provided wood was a convenient addition, although you'll do well to bring a flashlight or a lantern to light up the area a little bit while your using it. The kitchen was well equipped with any cooking equipment we needed (including pots, pans, cutting board, sheet pan, utensils, plates, bowls, mugs etc), and we had a fun time putting together some of the provided puzzles. Great for a nice quiet trip, nicely secluded and tucked away. A cat even stopped by to say hello! The bed was a little bit smaller than expected, just as a fair warning, but it does fit two people.

Here's a warm and friendly review based on your details: --- We recently stayed at this charming little cabin in the woods, and it was such a peaceful and calming escape from the hustle of daily life. Tucked away in nature, it truly felt like our own private retreat. The main area of the cabin is surprisingly spacious and has a cozy, welcoming feel. The warmth of the wood interior made it easy to relax right away. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for preparing small meals—we had everything we needed without any hassle. Outside, the cabin feels like a private resort, surrounded by trees and quiet. The weather was a bit too chilly for us to use the outdoor chimney this time, but we're already looking forward to coming back and enjoying it on a warmer night. The owner went above and beyond—providing detailed maps of nearby trails (which we plan to explore on our next visit) and even included small space heaters and cozy warming throws for us city folks not used to the mountain air. It’s little touches like these that made our stay so comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and recharge in a beautiful, quiet setting. We can’t wait to return!
