Ideal for both short- and long-term stays, with a fully stocked kitchen, four comfortable beds (a king, a queen, and two twins), and inviting living spaces.

Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, you’ll be within walking distance of Hillsdale College and directly across from Handmade, the town’s beloved sandwich shop. Enjoy all the perks of a hotel—without the campus construction noise or noise from neighboring rooms—just the warmth and privacy of a home.

Hotels are in short supply in Hillsdale, and for just a few dollars more we got a WHOLE HOUSE! This cottage was cozy and the decor was charming. I hope we can stay here again!

Everything we needed was accessible, she thought of Everything!Neighbors had loud trucks that ran 6a-10p, so it wasn't quiet, but the housecwas perfect.

Great house! The most well stocked place we have ever stayed. All of the cabinets were labeled well, so it was easy to find items. Very convenient for college events.Only downside was 1 bath, but we knew that when we reserved the house :) Would definitely book again!

A sweet cottage for my family to stay in for the holiday. Clean and well situated with everything we needed to cook meals. House was very responsive especially for a holiday weekend. Would stay here again.

The cottage was very clean and tidy. The bed and linens we slept on were quite comfortable. Convenient location to Hillsdale College and the downtown area. The host was very proactive and helpful in her communications. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Hillsdale.

Great Location, Clean and Cozy

We were looking for a short-term rental within walking distance of Hillsdale College to attend our daughter's concert. This little home was just what we needed. Very clean, very positive interaction with the owner. Would highly recommend and will stay again if available!

Location is perfect for visiting Hillsdale College

My son was in town for a summer football practice. Beds were very comfortable. Having a washing machine after a sweaty workout was very nice. I appreciated the kitchen to heat leftover lunch while my son was with his teammates. Temps got a bit warm upstairs during the day but comfortable for sleeping with the extra fans. That would not usually be an issue if not for late June.

Decent well stocked

Older house fixed up decent; reasonably comfortable, and well stocked with misc needs and kitchen extras.Responsive communication with owner.Owner obviously cares about making a nice rental property for a reasonable price.Neighborhood decent, with single exception of the neighbors across the street. No drama or anything, but not a good property to look at and they let one of their many cars alarm go off all night for one of our 2 nights there. Probably not a recurring thing.

I’ve come to appreciate the Hillsdale area in a way I didn’t expect at first. It’s a small town, but there’s a real sense of community, character, and care that you don’t find everywhere. Being here has made me want to invest in it—support the local businesses, contribute to the community, and help it continue to grow. My goal is for guests to not just stay here, but to experience the area at its best and leave with the same appreciation for it that I’ve developed.
