This cabin in the woods (newly built in 2005) has lots of windows for natural lighting and some amazing amenities and attractions nearby. You’ll get many glimpses of tranquil Biscay Pond through the trees and a convenient 100-yard walk to the Pemaquid River, which has a sloped sand entrance. We have canoe with a dolly for transport and kayak to explore the Pemaquid River which provides access to both Biscay Pond and protected marshland, perfect for those who enjoy freshwater fishing. A 5-minute walk will take you to Cosima’s Preserve, a mile long trail in a 44 acre property with views of Pemaquid River.

Inside the house, you can enjoy the comforts of a pellet stove for colder nights, as well as radiant floor heating for added coziness. We offer window unit ACs for the hot days of summer. Satellite TV and hardline internet connection ensure that you can stay connected and entertained. The fully equipped kitchen and two full baths with Laundry provide convenience and comfort for your stay. The cabin can accommodate 4 guests or more with its pullout couch or provided air mattress. It has a patio area for barbecues inside of an enclosure area for pets.

It offers proximity to various points of interest. Pemaquid Beach, known for its natural beauty, is less than 10 miles away. Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Park, with its picturesque views, is around 11 miles away. Additionally, the towns of Damariscotta and Newcastle, within 7 miles, provide a great selection of fine restaurants, shopping options, a bookstore, and a coffee shop.

And if you want to spend some time on the water, you can take a tour of puffins, seals, and Majestic Monhegan Island from Hardy Boat Cruises, only 9 miles away.
