This hoause is so beautiful! Prefect for our family vacation!! Plenty of room to spread out with two separate living rooms. The beds were so comfortable! A short walk to the beach for fishing or walking. The water park is directly across the street and small amusement park next to it as well.

I looked forward to our stay and had a nice correspondence with the host at first. The place is spacious and the location is good if you are there for the water and amusement parks. It unfortunately did not feel professionally cleaned and various things were in disrepair or just dirty. I tried to mention it to the host but got no reply.

Wonderful place to stay

We had to reserve this home last minute due to the home that we reserved 3 months prior cancelling last minute. While I was annoyed at the circumstances initially I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful home,she has everything you could need for a wonderful stay near the beach! Convenient to the beach and a very quaint little area. The host was very helpful and easy to reach. If i ever stay in NJ again i would definitely come back! Be mindful there is parking for one car in front of the house and parking in the area is very scarce so bring one maybe 2 vehicles.

I have waited to write my review until I had gotten a response from the host/owner and VRBO as I was trying to solve this amicably without putting them on blast and hoping they would do the right thing. My honest review of this house is as follows (see pics below): upon arriving at the condo, the first thing we noticed was how high and unkept the grass was. Walking up to the unit, we noticed how dirty the windows were. Upon entering the unit and walking around, there were live ants all around the kitchen, including inside the refrigerator. The air conditioner was set at 73 but it was 79 in the house. There was mold on the balcony. There was a pair of dirty underwear in a basket in one of the bedrooms. The bathrooms were filthy; mirrors were smudged, soap and shampoo buildup around all the bottles in the shower, and one of the bathtubs did not drain very well. Even though the listing on VRBO said that there was laundry in the house, they had it locked up and we were told this was the owner’s closet and they would not be unlocking it. We immediately reached out to the host/owner and she came out and got rid of the ants and washed the window and the TV and sprayed for mold but the ants came back and her excuse was that the owners must have left food on top of the refrigerator. Parking was a nightmare and this house is not in a very good/safe neighborhood. We just asked to get our cleaning fee back and small refund to compensate for us cleaning house in order to stay there.
