We checked in over the phone with the host, who was friendly and complete with instructions. The room was clean on the surface at first view, but upon spending more time in the room, we discovered mouse poop in the drawers and hair in the bed sheets. I was afraid to walk in the room without shoes on. The bathroom was clean but desperately needs updating. This motel is very old and has a musty smell. I went looking for more toilet paper and found the laundry room which was like a scene from a horror movie. Trash and laundry on the floor, balled up blankets everywhere, filthy pillows sticking out of the washers, it was too much for me and we left within the hour. I found an open (unused) room and stole the toilet paper from that room, just to get by until we left. I called to ask for a refund for the remaining night on our reservation (we left one day early), but I got no response back from the host. I would still like that night refunded. I do not recommend this motel, nor would I ever stay there again.
