Westlands is, hands down, one of Nairobi’s coolest spots, and I knew it was home the moment I saw it. It’s got this buzzing vibe—think trendy cafes, colorful street art, and the sound of matatus rolling by—mixed with green escapes like the nearby Arboretum.
I love grabbing a chai at a local spot or browsing the Maasai Market for handmade treasures. It’s so central, too—you’re minutes from the city center or a quick ride to giraffe-spotting at the Giraffe Centre. For me, it’s the perfect blend of urban excitement and laid-back charm.
