Located in the heart of the action!! Beautiful post and beam, ski-in/ski-out Birchwood penthouse perfect for a family and friends getaway. Sleeps 10. Fantastic views of the mountain as well as the Bigelow range. Minutes walk (or ski) to the best that Sugarloaf has to offer: Sugarloaf Village, Upper Snubber trail and lifts (Sawduster), Shipyard Brew Haus, Sports & Fitness Center which has a heated indoor pool, six hot tubs, two saunas, two steam rooms, racquetball, volleyball, deep-tissue massage services and a full gym. A 24x7 free shuttle bus service (Sugarloaf Explorer) offers transport to any location within the resort boundary. The Sugarloaf Outdoor Center offers Snowshoeing, XC Skiing, Winter Fat Biking and Ice Skating. In the Summer and Fall months visitors can enjoy world class golfing, hiking, fly fishing, leaf peeping and more.

Great stay

You can’t beat the sunrise out the front window and view of Sugaloaf Mountain. It is a great ski in and out with cozy accommodations.

Great place on the mountain!

We stayed at Chris’ place for the Sugarloaf Marathon weekend and had a really great time. It is easy to walk everywhere on the mountain and was comfortable for 4 adults, and could have easily fit more!

Perfect place for a large family

We had a group of 9, and the rental was perfect. Very clean, well maintained and the beds were all really comfortable. Location is an easy five minute walk to the lodge, restaurants and shops.

Great Location

Went up to Maine to do some hiking with friends. Right at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain. This place was comfortable and clean a great place to use as a base for our hiking.

Birchwood Penthouse

Great stay. Would have liked all screens to be in all windows, the downstairs shower / tub fills up with backwater while showing, could have used two more fans and a sign marking the name of the road. Otherwise, we loved it and look forward to visiting again.

I planned a girls trip and we were all happy with the condo. It was clean and the right amount of space for everyone. We were able to enjoy some shopping and eat out at their local breakfast and restaurant. In all we are looking forward to vacation here in the future

Great place

Our group of 8 had a great time. Plenty of hiking trails around. The coast is about a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive. The outdoor center near is a little outrageous on their prices for pool/ hot tub usages. All in all a great stay during nonpeak times.

Great place with easy access to slopes

My girlfriends and I and a short walk across a parking lot to hit the a green to the Snubber Lift, which takes you to the main base area. The access path is also right across the trail from the Sugarloaf Inn, do it’s quite convenient to sit outside for an apres ski drink at the Shipyard Brrew Haus at the end of the day. The condo itself was charming, spacious and cozy, and the hosts were super responsive and helpful.

Family ski trip

Lifts are a short walk or can be reached by a shuttle that ran every 30 minutes. We could see the slopes from the unit, which was fun. The unit was snug and the kitchen was highly functional. Good group seating area in the living room space.

Great place

The property was just as advertised. It was clean and comfortable and perfect for a weekend of hiking or skiing in the Sugarloaf area. Driving directions are a bit confusing if using Google Maps (don't for this location). Follow the written directions supplied. I had a simple question for the owner who responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Cozy condo

The condo is located in a great location. It has a ski locker on the main entrance so you don't have to take your skis up steps. Plenty of hooks to hang up your snow gear. The kitchen is fully stocked! The family room area is cozy with a wonderful view of the ski mountain. Minutes from everything. I hope to go back in the future. Christopher was a great communicator!!

Summer Golf Weekend

We rented this condo for our son's 30th 'golf' birthday weekend with his uncles and cousin. There was no negatives about the owner and the condo - PERFECT! A great time had by all at this condo, the Sugarloaf Golf Course, The Rack, The Bag & Kettle and 45 North. We do advise if you go in the summer to bring fans as the weekend was hot and humid even for Maine. Thank you Chris and Lauren!!

Loved our trip!

This condo is located right in the heart of it! We were four adults with 6 teenagers and they were in heaven! The unit has a great floor plan with kitchen, dining table and living room all on one floor. Allowed for some folks to enjoy watching tv while others played games and others cooked. The place was clean and had all the bedding and towels which was really nice. The carpet in the living room and couch are a little lived in but fine and undertandable with the use the unit probably gets. Everything was comfortable (mattresses were comfortable, too) and lots of great windows overlooking the mountain view. Really cute ambiance. We felt welcome and so excited when we arrived! Can't say enought nice things about the location, too. We'd would definitely stay in this unit again. The owners were accomodating with an advanced request with a scent allergy. I would highly recommend this condo!!

If you are looking for cookie cutter condo this is NOT the unit for you! This 3 bed, 2 bath Birchwood penthouse glows in the warmth of original post and beam construction. It has all the "easy button" qualities of a condo but the true feel of a ski lodge. Knotty pine, exposed beams, open air loft, bunk room and a beautiful 2021 Jotul GF 400 Sebago gas stove make this unit one of a kind.
