Beautiful historical home with modern amenities. Clean and Very spacious with 2 comfortable living areas and kitchens. Decor beautiful, toiletries provided and some kitchen extras like paper towels, k-pods and sugar. Neighborhood is charming and is in walking distance of many restaurants, bars and shops. Recommend highly!

5 couples stayed 3 nights and we all loved the house. Probably the nicest rental we have stayed in. Beautiful house. Historic charm but very nicely modernized. Well decorated, but comfortable. Very clean. Loved hanging out on both the front porch and back deck as well as the 2 living rooms and we used both kitchens. Everyone had their own room with king size beds and each couple had their own bathroom. We would definitely recommend this house.

Host and Home was amazing! Plenty of room for all of us, it was great!Wasn’t as close walking distance as I thought to some of the places around the home but we had our cars so didn’t really impact our stay.Would definitely recommend!

It was a perfect house. Huge and well decorated. It's in a great location to plenty of shops and restaurants. The host, Kristen, was very responsive! Highly recommend this house for any group, small or large!

HS Gang Gettogether

Our gang of six couples gathered here for the Bourbon trail. We are well into our sixties and found the house to be very comfortable. Beautiful historic mansion with very comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was well appointed and we put the coffee makers to work! Kristen was very responsive to questions. The location was convenient for dining, downtown, the highway and the airport.

Such a wonderful house!

We had 7 couples stay here and it was perfect! The house is gorgeous, spacious and clean. It also had everything we needed. The location was great. Easy to get to downtown, the airport and Lexington for bourbon tours. Could walk to great restaurants. Eric was a wonderful host and super helpful. We would all stay here again and our group is not easy to please lol!

Bourbon Trail Adventure

Finished a five day trip to Lexington and Louisville with a two night stay at this fantastic house. It was perfect for our group of ten friends. Super clean and well appointed! We had a great time!

Spectacular in every way!

I can't say enough good things about this beautiful home. It has been flawlessly renovated with details that fit right into the vintage feel. It feels modern, yet comfortable and authentic. Kristen, the host, worked with us on a couple of special requests. She always responded within minutes, and was very accommodating. The home smelled clean because it is clean, and they don't use any of the chemical air fresheners, which is a huge plus for me. I've stayed in more than 60 VRBOs in the last few years, and this experience is definitely one of the very best. Lots of nearby restaurants, and tons of parking rounded out the experience. You can't go wrong with this magnificent home and delightful host!

Beautiful home

We loved this house! We came with 5 couples and the spacious house had plenty of room and everyone got their own bathroom. It is newly remolded and beautifully decorated. We all raved about it. It’s in a cute neighborhood and in walking distance to fun restaurants. We had a wonderful stay!

Bourbon mansion fun

The Highlands Mansion offers over 4,000 Square feet with plenty of room for multiple couples or guests as a retreat for enjoying the Derby City. The open, yet private floor plan allows you to enjoy time together with your friends, while everyone has their own spaces. The homes charm was preserved with the original two hundred year old wood floors and stained glass windows which provide a historic feel, while the carefully chosen decor warms up the space for a truly comfortable stay.

The space is a complete park like setting in the historic Highlands area in Louisville. The central location near Douglass loop is a multi-cultural shopping area dedicated to arts, locals, a weekly farmers market, nightlife and a brewery. This gives you a lot to do before you even need to walk an entire block.
