Poor Communication & Scam
Our family was unable to get in the property. After driving 4 hours with 3 kids we arrived at 945pm. We received instructions to enter and they were not correct. After repeatedly texting, calling, messaging, and ring camera attempts we finally gave up after 45 mins. We ended up going to a hotel. The “host” finally responded at 11:15pm with a generic text repeating the exact same instructions on how to get in. It was almost like a copy and paste. A management company finally called me at 1am representing the host. Absolutely the worst experience. I ended up contacting VRBO directly. VRBO was very understanding and reviewed my case. The VRBO representative was great to deal, responsive and very apologetic. They reviewed all the calls and texts between the host & myself. I did end up getting a refund from VRBO. The house the next day was back on as available with a new “host”
