Open concept design with pine interior and over 2000 sq. feet of luxury mountain living space. Driving distance to 6 Ski Resorts including; Panorama and Fairmont; just a 20 minute drive; Kimberley, Fernie, Kicking Horse and Lake Louise. The Whiteway; a 32 km trail across Lake Windermere open for cross-country skiing, skating and hiking. The location is perfect with walking distance to Town, for shopping, restaurants, bistros, pubs, groceries and local Invermere Bakery. Walk to the beach for a swim, boat ride, water ski or a nice Family picnic or a game of tennis or volleyball. Enjoy a game of golf at your favorite golf course with over 12 golf courses to choose from Par 3 to Championship courses. The home features 4 bedrooms with 3 queen beds, 3 single beds and one double bed, 3 flat screen Tv's with HD, Blue-ray player with over 30 movies, stereo Wi-Fi, Amazon movie channel. Enjoy the huge landscaped fenced yard for children and adults alike. There is 2 decks to enjoy the early morning sunrise while having breakfast or in the evening while relaxing enjoying a steak on the barbecue while sipping a glass of wine or your favorite beverage. Visit the world renown Radium or Fairmont Hot Springs for a relaxing swim in the natural hot pools or a dip in the cooler pool. The Kinsman Beach Park and John Chabot Provincial Park are favorite summer beaches for sun-tanning, picnics, boating water skiing, swimming, water spray parks and bike paths. All sporting activities are available at Kinsman Beach where you can rent paddle boards and canoes. Just a 10 minute walk or a close drive to Kinsman Beach with free parking, change rooms and ice cream shop.

We stayed at Christmas at the house in Invermere and it was super! 20 minutes to Fairmont Ski and Hot Springs Resort. We had 3 Family's and it was very spacious and the kids had lots of room to play. There was enough beds and tons of extra blankets, and pillows. It had everything what we needed. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone traveling with Family. We will be back again next year to stay at this house. The Owner was very nice and responded quickly to any inquiries/emails you have. They left us a nice Christmas card and gift on the dining table which we were very thankful!

Our house rules and policy's: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events. No team sport bookings are permitted. A noise by-law and Owner cancellation policy is in effect.
***Please note that monthly rentals are now available all season long at discounted rates; presently at 50% off of regular rental rates!
***Pet Fee: charged separately - $20/day or $140/week + tax. Extra days will be pro-rated. Monthly pet fees will be discounted.

Very Cabinesque!

A little older property but certainly suited our needs with bedrooms and bathrooms. Linens were wonderful and kitchen was very well stocked. Great location in town.

Fantastic location!

Our family enjoyed our stay, as the location could not have been better. Short walk to the beach, awesome views from the patio and enough rooms for everyone. A bit warm to sleep at night but otherwise we will be booking again!

Clean and tidy

The house was a perfect stop for a family vacation. 8 beds to accommodate everyone. Well stocked kitchen with ample dining space. If in the area again, we would be happy to stay again. Thank you!

Excellent house and location

House is just about the perfect location between the beach aand downtown, nice quiet street with some really great views The deck was great, sun hitting it in the morning for coffee on it and shade in the hot afternoon for relaxing after being at the beach. Neighbors were friendly as well (one came by to let us know about an upcoming scheduled power outage) House works really well for a large family group as there are lots of 'heads in beds' oppertunities.

Working Vacation

We had a lot of work to do while we were here for 10 days. The house was very convenient and gave us lots of room to get our work done and visit with family. The house is very well equipped for cooking, dishwasher, the deck was lovely to sit out evenings. The views are very pretty. Nice quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. The vintage 70's bathtub/shower was remarkably comfortable for soaking.the only down sides to this house is that there is no powder room on the main floor or AC in the upstairs bedrooms. But we had a wonderful stay.

Well appointed cabin, clean, and lots of room for a larger family

Don's place was ideal for our family vacation in the area. The layout of the space was perfect for our family of 6. Everybody had room to spread out, including my two teenagers, that took over the basement. The cabin was clean, and came equipped with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay, minus your clothing and food. And I mean literally everything...plenty of towels, linens, dishes, etc... The location was great for us...close to everything, but not right on the main drag, so it was serene and peaceful. The beds were comfortable, and everybody slept well. We had no issues. Would happily rent from Don again.

Well stocked rental

This was a great stocked rental for the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. The house is large, as is the yard. The house is a bit dated and the beds are just ok and there’s no air conditioning, but we felt the rental was great value for the cost. You’re just a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the beach. The deck is excellently located in the house - it manages to have afternoon shade so you can sit out on it even in the heat of the afternoon and be cool.

Comfortable house good location

The house was perfect for our party of 6. Beds were comfortable. There is plenty of living space and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner was very quick to respond to queries. The town is walking distance and has a variety of shops.

Perfect for more then one family

Don’s house was perfect for our family vacation. We had 6 adults and 4 children and a dog. Great separation of space for each of our families; we didn’t hear anyone (kids up early, baby crying or adults up late). Had everything we needed and the yard was great for the dog. Would have had a beautiful view if it wasn’t for the smoke in the valley. Thanks Don maybe one day we will be able to come again.

Excellent home for families

This was an excellent property for our family vacation. We were 4 adults and 3 kids. The house was very comfortable, with all the amenities you need. It’s just a 6/7 block walk to Kinsmen beach in Invermere. Great value ,

Great Stay

Very clean and well suited for our large family vacation. Even our fur babies had fun in the large backyard. Grocery and playground a nice walk away.

Great place to stay.

This house is a great place to stay for a large group of people, there is plenty of room. It is also nice that you are able to bring your fur babies. The house is also very well stocked which was great. The owner was quick and very responsive to communicate with. About the only negative things I could say is that i would remove the rug from the basement bathroom floor, and that the house was somewhat dated. I would definitely stay here again!! Thanks Don!

Great home with an even better view!

We stayed at this home over New Years 2018. We had five adults and one dog in our party. We loved that it was pet friendly and our goldendoodle loved the big backyard. The house was well laid out for the 5 of us allowing us all to have our own space and the Landloard was easy and personable to deal with. The basement is great for a couple or kids as there are 4 beds and a T.V down there. On the main level there was another sleeping area with two more beds, that is in a seperate family room and upstairs there were two more bedrooms. Although, One of the upstairs rooms is in a open loft area and therefore noise from the kitchen and the living room could be heard, but for us this was not a problem. The kitchen was roomy with plenty of counter space and easily fit 3 of us cooking at a time. It was also very well stocked and had plenty of pots, pans and even a slow cooker. The living room had two comfy couches, a wood fire place and fantastic views of the mountains. the front porch was a closed in sunroom type area which was great for us to leave all of our snow gear in. The house overall was a well maintained older, perfectly peiced together home. Somethings such as the carpets were worn in places but for the age of the home, the fact that it's is a rental home and the price we were very satisfied with it. We would highly recommend this property to other families, its close proximity to town and the beach and its spacious interior makes it a perfect vacation rental!

Good location, but very dated

The house itself has a number of positive qualities, such as the close location to the beach and main street. It is also well stocked, and has a nice big yard for the kids to play in. However, one of the upstairs bedrooms does not have a wall, and does not keep the noise out. So one of our party members did not sleep well. The house is just very old, so the beds are rather uncomfortable, the dishwasher doesn't really work, the toilets don't flush well, there's old carpet, the patio doors don't close well so we had some bugs, etc. With a little bit of updating, this place could be fabulous.
