Since our marriage in 1981, we had the joy of living and raising our family in this special place, Ben Ami. Bar-On Holiday Homes are situated close to many interesting sites of northern Israel which one can easily explore on day trips. Places like the blue grottoes at Rosh HaNikra or the old city of Akko. How about enjoying the beauty of the Mediterranean shore or relaxing at an outdoor café along the boardwalk of Nahariya? The property is also in close proximity to the Nahariya train station where there are direct trains to Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion Airport.
Both Smadar and I are graduates of Hebrew University. Smadar received her Master degree in early childhood education. She is presently a consultant for Education teaching and directing educational teams. Smadar recently wrote and published a book entitled “Plato in the Nursery” which outlines an innovative way to raise children. I am Amit, an expert in the management and analysis of computerized information systems, and the owner of an outsourcing consulting firm for local authorities and municipal bodies called Meniv Hachnasot Ltd.

We have raised two wonderful children, Noa and Gilad, who are now grown and have gone off in their own directions. Noa, a professional photographer has captured some of the uniqueness of Bar-On Holiday Homes on the photos posted on this website. Smadar and I would love to share this beautiful part of this country with you. We look forward to meeting you in the near future.

We host guests for weekends and short stays, as well as for longer periods. Visitors whose relatives are hospitalized at Nahariya Hospital, doctors who come to work for regular periods at the Galilee Medical Center, or the families of dancers in the Kibbutz Ga’aton International dance village, have all enjoyed extended stays at Bar-On Holiday Homes- Nature & Culture.

Bar-On Holiday Homes are located in Ben Ami, a moshav situated in one of the most beautiful area in northern Israel. The moshav is located just a 10 minute drive from the center of the beach town of Nahariya on the Mediterranean Sea. This location is ideal to experience the northern Israel and western Galilee.

The property is completely surrounded by fruit trees and situated adjacent to avocado groves. This provides a peaceful and tranquil environment for a perfect weekend getaway, family vacation, multigenerational family gathering or corporate retreats. There are 3 individual Homes and 1 House of 5-bedroom. All houses have private patio to enjoy the surrounding nature.
