Love Sandpiper Cove

I have been staying at SPC for over 30 years and keep coming back. Love how it is family friendly and feels safe. You can’t beat this stretch of beach. Great beach service and best restaurant in Destin! My only suggestion would be that this particular unit could use a kitchen renovation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved sandpiper! The golf course has my husband sold. The unit was clean. We loved the spacious deck overlooking the little waterway. Kids enjoyed looking at the ducks every day. Walk to the water taxi is short and easy! Only recommendation is fixing the screen door and some of the sockets/lights weren’t working. Remotes were halfway working as well. But other than that! We loved and will definitely be back!!

The condo was spotless and by that I mean there was not a grain of sand, a speck of dust anywhere! The bed was super comfortable also! The location is great and the resort is also great! The beach you need to drive to or you could walk but it would be a long walk carrying all your beach things. The beach is beautiful!!! If I had to list a complaint the only thing I would complain about was that the toilet is super low so if you have trouble getting up it might be an issue. Also the bedroom curtains do not hide the sunlight. So when the sun comes up in the morning it’s pretty bright in the bedroom. Other than those 2 things we LOVED the condo and would for sure stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was a great size for our family of four. I absolutely LOVED the huge deck. My complaints however were the bed had a strange hump in the middle and wasn't very comfortable. The pull out sofa was not even close to be something to sleep on, even with the foam mattress topper. My four year old didn't even want to sleep on it. Suggestions for the unit would be hooks in the shower to hang a loofah and the rack in the bathroom was loose and nearly fell off. A few of the sliding blind adjusters on the doors were also loose. I felt as though the floors were not properly mopped before our arrival, our feet were always dirty walking in the unit. Suggestions for the resort itself would be assigned parking spots. One night I had to park at 1038 and our unit was 2056. This is not ideal with two children.
