Just off the great room, a small deck with comfortable seating becomes your front-row seat to vibrant Lake Michigan sunsets. Step down to the adjacent patio where you'll find an outdoor dining area and charcoal BBQ grill—perfect for evening cookouts and stargazing nights. From every angle, the lake remains your constant backdrop.
The main-level primary bedroom offers quiet privacy with an eastern-facing view and sliding glass doors that open to the backyard—a beautiful spot to sip your morning coffee or stretch before the day begins. A sleek, custom-tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower is located nearby.
Upstairs, the open loft area overlooks the great room and offers a relaxed space to read, sit, or simply take in the view through large lake-facing windows. A stylish daybed provides an alternate lounging spot for anyone who prefers their own sleeping space, though the home's occupancy is thoughtfully capped at six guests to maintain comfort and balance.
The true standout of the upper level is the expansive balcony—a sun-soaked outdoor lounge ideal for morning yoga (just bring your mat), quiet conversation, or watching the waves dance on the horizon. Two upstairs bedrooms—each with a queen bed—provide cozy retreats for guests, along with a second full bathroom featuring a walk-in, custom-tiled shower.

Enjoy the warmth of the two-person cedar sauna, gather around the backyard fire pit, or take the short 0.1-mile stroll to Pier Cove Beach for a day of sand, sunshine, and shoreline bliss. This beloved stretch of Lake Michigan coastline is known for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
Tucked in the lakeshore area of Fennville, The Tig offers easy access to the best of Southwest Michigan. Spend your days exploring Saugatuck, Douglas, South Haven, or Fennville itself—each one brimming with art galleries, boutique shops, wineries, breweries, hiking trails, and farm stands. There's something here for every pace and every season.

A Note from the Owner
"Spending his early years in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, my father, "Petit Glion", colloquially "ti'glion". This was shortened to "Tigli" and finally to "Tig". The nickname stuck as the family traveled from station to station over the years. Pier Cove was an anchor and home base, and my grandmother spent her post-retirement life.
She hosted children and grandchildren through the Summers, trying to keep us from dragging the beach back into the house on sand-caked feet from our sun-filled days and bonfire nights. Those Summers inspired me to start a marshmallow company, Malvi Mallow, to capture the joy of Summer in Michigan.
We built "The Tig at Lakeshore" to harbor new adventures and make way for fresh cherished memories for our children and guests. Leap in the waves, search for treasure stones on the shores, walk in the ravine, linger over the sunset, and sleep deeply to the unplugged soundtrack. We hope you thoroughly enjoy your time at The Tig.

Please Note
- Refrigerator Size: The home features a compact refrigerator, which has less storage capacity than a standard-size fridge. Please plan ahead when packing or purchasing groceries.
- Nature & Wildlife: This home is nestled in a beautiful natural setting where wildlife and insects are part of the charm. Routine pest control services are in place to ensure the comfort of our guests, but on occasion, a curious critter may make its way inside, especially if doors are left open. If you notice any evidence of pests indoors, please notify our office promptly so we can address the situation.
- Septic System: This home is on a private septic system. To ensure proper function, please flush toilet paper only. Do not flush items such as wipes, feminine products, paper towels, or other materials, as they can cause damage or backups.
- Well Water: This home receives water via a well. Due to the high mineral content in our area, this water smells and tastes different than city water. Though the water is safe to drink, those who are accustomed to city water may wish to bring bottled water for drinking. Washing white laundry can leave slight orange tints on clothing.
- Security Camera: A security camera is installed at the front door. It records video and audio momentarily when it detects motion.
