Only negative experience

Only negative experience. Upon arrival we found that Sheets in the bed were dirty with pet hair on it, bathroom and toilet downstairs were dirty and had a pubic hair in it. I would not recommend staying here, owner was not friendly.

Blue Lake House was absolutely amazing. The owner is a sweetheart and very accommodating.

It was great ! My family was very happy and we were all so comfortable. There is plenty to do and the view from the house and the wildlife is fantastic. We were all talking about we can’t wait to do it again . Thank you so much.

Annual getaway

We love the close lake access for wading, sunning, and swimming. This year we brought paddle boards and had a great time. The house is comfortable and has everything we need!

Eastern Washington Oasis

Wonderful experience at this beautiful property. Outstanding views of Blue Lake and the surrounding area added to the overall home away-from-home feeling. This lovely home was a true oasis in very hot September weather. The air conditioning was delicious and we all slept comfortably through the night. Immaculately clean, spacious, well-appointed it had a relaxing feel to it that allowed for coming together and separating as needed. Two of our guests had University assignments to complete and were able to set up their computers and easily share the kitchen table space. Meanwhile, dinner was being prepared adjacent to the table area and conversations flowed quite nicely...wonderful set up. If you're looking for a peaceful and yet exciting place to stay with crystal clear water and the surrounding coulee, this is the place. I imagine the winter months are pretty amazing as well as the area is wide open, there is abundant wild life and the views commanding. Would not hesitate to book this property again.

Wonderful Vacation Rental

We've stayed at many vacation rentals and this home is one of the best we've stayed at. The kitchen was well stocked, the views out the windows were breathtaking, the beds were comfortable, and the home was clean. Our kids loved having their "own space" downstairs. We were there for an outdoor education field trip, but it sure was hard getting the kids to leave for our activities. The minute we were finished, their only desire was to "go back to the house." Linda always responded quickly to any questions we had. The area is full of natural wonders--some of it you can enjoy right from the balcony! We noticed a lot of people enjoying fishing along the lake, too. It's a great place to get-away from the busy urban areas.

Awesome Family Vacation

Just got back from 5 days and we loved it! We are definitely making this our family annual tradition!!! First of all, the house is amazing! The decor, the style, the kitchen...everything is so thoughtful and luxurious. Huge kudos to the decorator! The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was stocked with all equipment you need to make a great meal. There was enough room for my husband and I, my parents, and my kids to get away and chill, and then to come together and eat & play games & star gaze at night. And the view of the lake and the mountains is breathtaking! My dad and my husband were in heaven that they got to watch Mariners game and US Open. There were 2 TVs, so nobody had to fight over the remote. We also got a chance to do some sightseeing - Coulee Dam, Lake Lenore caves, Dry Falls, and few impromptu hikes up the hills. And of course we got to spend a lot of time in the lake. Kids had a blast - they said it was their favorite vacation! We highly recommend this property!

Exceeded expectation

Initially thought the cost was a little high but reserved it anyway. This is a case where you get what you pay and a little more. The house is very nice with a very functional floor plan. It is furnished well and had all the amenities you could ask for. The best part is the deck facing Blue Lake, again with all the amenities. It had a gas grill and an excellent table and chair set. Also adding to the experience is the rope light LED's that attached to the deck railing. Now, the icing on the cake, we were greeted morning and evening by at least 3 or 4 deer out in front of the house, in addition to that on our first afternoon there we were also visited by 3 fawns that were with group. If you like birds there was an incredibly large covey of California Quail that was literally always there. That just leaves the intriguing landscape that we got to enjoy. All that put together really did exceed our expections and made for a very relaxing and pleasant stay.

Refresh and Reconnect Family Vacation

The Blue Lake House was very really nice. It was very clean and had a really nice view. Easy access to to lake and a nice deck on the front of the house to watch the sunsets. The house is fully stocked and it was nice to see the owners used quality supplies and linens. Brian (owner) was very friendly and called in advance to ensure my family would have a comfortable stay and suggested local places we could visit. I would definitely use the Blue Lake house again!

Great house near the lake getaway

Had a really good time at Coulee city while staying at this house. Great first impression, House was clean and all the amenities were there for our usage. The house had a great view of the lake with a view of the sun set. Easy access to the lake for swimming or boating. Will recommend this property!

Fantastic, clean, accommodating house! Great view!

The listing was accurately described. The property was very clean, included many amenities, and was very comfortable. The owners even reached out several weeks in advance to answer any questions and concerns, as well as describe the property in further detail. We emailed the owner upon arrival and received very quick responses. I would highly recommend the property to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful Lake House Getaway!

We had a wonderful time! The house was the perfect size for our party of 4. The view was spectacular, the house was decorated beautifully and the kitchen was fully stocked. Loved the comfy couch too! We even had a family of deer that showed up daily which was a treat! The beach access is wonderful and right across the street. We spent the day floating on the lake which was surprisingly warm. The fishing was excellent and our guys caught their limit. We will definitely be making this an annual trip!

Great Lake House Get Away

We loved this vacation home! It is very tastefully decorated, modern, and super clean. The views of the lake from inside and especially from the upper deck are beautiful. The owners obviously put a lot of thought into what renters need. You hardly need to bring or think about anything besides the typical such as food, drinks, clothes. Extra touches/thoughts are everywhere- restaurant-grade waffle maker, including all ingredients for the waffles; coffee accoutrements like sugar/sugar substitute, plain and flavored creamers are provided, soaps/shampoos/conditioner dispensers provided. Everything you could think about in the kitchen is available, as are towels/washclothes, top-end linens, great curved screen tv's, satellite, etc. Super comfortable and perfect for serving and entertaining your group. Saw many wild birds and animals on/near the property including deer, quail, rabbits, etc. The ONLY thing that we would suggest is a more reasonable check-out time. Most renters are coming from hours away...to have to pack-up, clean-up and be out of the house by 10AM was a real bummer and inconvenience. I guess it did get us out on the lake earlier! -but it would be nice to be offered flexibility with earlier check-in and later check-out.

Great House with all the amenities

The house is clean and well organized. Everything is new, easy to find and use. Family rooms with tvs upstairs and down; decks on both levels too. We loved the access to the lake is close by, about three houses down, for floating on the lake. We went to Dry Falls Visitor Center and Sun Lakes Resort for golfing; they are a short 15 minute drive away. If you've got your own water toy -- boat, jet skis -- and stock your kitchen, you could hunker down the entire time; do laundry, cook, relax when you're not playing. Otherwise, the driving is easy and there is a lot to see and do nearby. After taking the boat out on Banks Lake we like a Mexican restaurant on East Grand Coulee Avenue called LaPresa. The house has friendly neighbors in a peaceful setting. The streets are quiet; it's nice just for walking in the morning or evening when it's not too hot. Truly enjoyable.
