Not quite what we expected

First, the images in the listing were not of the apartment we rented. The apartment was well-loved, but definitely worn down. It was clean and tidy, but in need of some repairs and updates. The beds were rock-hard. Our host was very kind and gave us a slight discount for the inconvenience. We also had some problems with the hot water, which perhaps hadn’t been used in some time and smelled bad. Overall would rather have spent more money for something nicer, but the place was adequate for our needs. Please note that Blue Sapphire is quite a bit out of town, and cafes, restaurants and grocery stores are 10-15 minutes by car. Lovely staff and friendly neighbors. Nice pool, easy beach access.

Great spot. Right on South China Sea. Great view of the sea from our balcony. Hardly anybody in the building we were in and at supper time we went to the resort restaurant and we were the only people there. So the place was like our own private resort. Resort not completely finished yet so that is probably why not many people there plus we were there during the week. They say it is quite busy on weekends as everybody leaves Ho Chi Minh City for the water and the beaches.Nice sandy beach and the water nice and warm. Could watch the fishing boats go out every morning and when they came in you could go and by fresh fish or prawn from them. Did not meet owner but his assistant was there and helped us. Had problem with TV and sent text to owner and we had 3 different people within 10 minutes trying to figure it out and they solved our problem. All workers at resort real friendly.
