Great location, close to many things. We ended up having to cut our stay short. It was difficult to get ahold of the host to let them know but they did end up reaching out by phone and explained they had been really sick. She was very sweet and we are planning to stay there again when we return to the area.

The host was very sweet! We loved the layout of the rooms! Back porch was an added bonus! We loved the heated beds! The living room and dining room adjoined was an added bonus for the eight of us to hang out with my college daughter!

I wish I had listened to other reviews more carefully before booking this property for our group of eight. Our stay was marked by problems that I feel obligated to share with other travelers.Sewage backup. One of the toilets backed up and pushed raw sewage into a shower, leaving eight people sharing a single functioning bathroom. When we notified the host, it took over 10 hours to receive a response, and the issue was not resolved for more than a day. The first plumber who came told us this was a known problem, which the host denied, so it is hard to know who to believe. Mice. We had 2 mice in the kitchen. The first mouse ran from the kitchen to the bedroom, and we had to catch it ourselves. We had made the host aware and some traps were placed under the stove but those were not helpful for the mouse in the bedroom. The second mouse was trapped by the one of there traps. Cleanliness. The ceiling fans were coated in such thick dust that we had to purchase a Swiffer and clean them ourselves. We had guests in our party with dust allergies who could not comfortably stay in the space until we addressed it.Host responsiveness. The 10 hour delay in responding to a raw sewage situation in a rental home is unacceptable.I do not write reviews like this lightly, but I feel that other travelers should be made aware of our experience as they look for accommodations in Laramie.

The construction is terrible. Rippled carpet, no closets or area to hang anything up. No towels in the kitchen, but expected to clean up after use. No extra blankets or sheets to make up the couch bed. Outlet area marked on the walls with pencil and incomplete construction. Not cleaned upon arrival. Broken wine bottle in the freezer and trash and empty nicotine container under the beds. The hot tub is unusable because it is kept at such a high temperature, and temp is not adjustable. Very dangerous.

I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy this unit. We do have extra sheets and blankets in the unit, extra kitchen towels, and rags in kitchen drawers. I'm very surprised that you never inquired or mentioned anything about these issues so I could help you. Yes, we own the fact that something that was supposed to be a nice gesture for New Years (Champaigne in freezer) went wrong, For this we apologize and will not be doing this again.

From STRONG sewer smells, and a broken shower to a leaking dishwasher that flooded and ruined the kitchen floor... Would not recommend this property, not safe for kids. Every shortcut possible was taken. No paint on the walls, just a dry primer coat, doors that don't shut properly, a bathroom vanity that sticks out into the doorway, light switches and outlets still marked on the walls that were then put in odd places. You can tell that everything was purchased from marketplace listings and was done as cheap as possible. There's absolutely nowhere to hang anything. When you want to dry off snowpants, or hang up a wet towel you can't.As soon as we arrived we noticed one shower had water spraying from the handle and had to contact the hosts. They did resolve it as quickly as possible. Over the next few days though a STRONG sewer smell permeated from that same bathroom. So strong is seeped into the bedrooms and kitchen. There's no amount of flushing that will fix it. The hot tub panel buttons are broken. Dishwasher drain not hooked up-flooded the kitchen. Other parts of the kitchen have had previous floor water damage-the particle board underneath literally cracks if you apply pressure to the floor. Lastly - the windows. You can't open windows because they've removed the handles, so if there's a fire you can't exit a bedroom. You're screwed. For the money it was absolutely not worth it. Would stay somewhere outdated and functioning over this.

Tiffany, I know it was a struggle with the ac unit going out, and I apologies for that. I was really in hopes that when i brought over the second ac unit it would work well and y'all would have been much more comfortable, I am saddened that it wasn't the case. Needs improvement

There was no communication or emails sent in advance regarding info for the VRBO. Rules, WiFi password, etc. We also had trouble with the heating system not turning off and when we returned to the house after a day out the heat was blasting and the house was 85 degrees when it was hot outside. The house was hot the entire time and there was no AC and almost all of the windows had no handles, so couldn’t be opened to cool the house down. There were no towel holders to hang towels to dry and no shelves in the shower to hold soap or shampoo. I was disappointed in the house for the amount of money we paid.

The house is owner-built and could not have passed a building inspection. There were no smoke detectors & no CO detectors despite a pellet burning heater in the living room. Both are a violation of Wyoming building code. The heater shutdown repeatedly w/ an error code indicating blocked vent outlet & the heater door would not stay closed! We bought space heaters. Thankfully we had no CO injuries. The electrical outlet over the kitchen sink is without a GFI. The stove, microwave & refrigerator were all on the same circuit. Any time 2 of the appliances were turned on a breaker would trip requiring repeated trips to the garage to reset the breaker. NEC requires a dedicated circuit for refrigerators. One morning all power went out until the owner came over. The house is still under construction w/ electrical outlet & switch box outlines drawn on several walls. Some wall switches do nothing. The windows still have manufacturer’s stickers on them w/ no crank handles. The vinyl kitchen floor bulges in areas. The bathrooms are VERY small & both have electrical outlets above the sinks without GFI, no venting fans & no towel racks. There are no closets in any of the bedrooms. None. The garage is filled w/ building materials. After complaining smoke detectors were placed but they are not hardwired nor interconnected as required. The house is not ready to be occupied and Vrbo should remove this property from its listings until it is brought up to code/cleared by a registered inspector.
