Escape to our freshly refurbished three‑bedroom, 1.5‑bath mountain retreat perched just five minutes from historic downtown Julian yet worlds away in alpine serenity. Inside, knotty‑pine warmth meets modern comfort. A king bed master bedroom opens towards a mountain trail and a clear view Vulcan Mountain and the breathtaking De Anza Borrego desert to the east. An upstairs bunk room with twin‑over‑twin plus an extra twin for the kids completes the experience. Downstairs a finished basement and third bedroom is also available. Gather in the open‑plan living room beside a wood‑burning stove, stream a movie on the smart TV, or whip up cider‑season feasts in the full kitchen Outside, a fully fenced yard opens straight onto a spur trail into the summit. Grill dinner on the south‑facing deck while deer wander the tree line and the Milky Way awakens above this Dark‑Sky community. Just across the yard, a restored barn has been reborn as your private game lounge and bar, complete with slate‑bed pool table, darts, and hand‑hewn counter for celebratory toasts. After a day of apple‑picking, lake kayaking, or desert wildflower chasing, recharge with high‑speed Wi‑Fi, washer/dryer, AC mini‑splits, and parking for three cars. Sleeps seven comfortably (max eight). Book now and trade city noise for mountain breezes, gold‑rush charm, and sunsets you’ll replay long after checkout.
