Very nice condo!

Golfers paradise

If you love golf this is the place for you my friend and I enjoyed 2 free rounds of golf daily with buggy hire 25 USD a day. Restaurant onsite is reasonable for daily meals. Apartment had everything we needed. Property was a little tricky to find as its a large development but no other issues

Pleasant stay

Owner and manager responded quickly to any issues we had. Construction in area made traveling to and from city, which was only 6 kilometers away, a challenge during rush hour. On the other hand it was much easier traveling west to the beaches as traffic was lighter. Bathroom tub and shower need a thorough cleaning. We enjoyed amenities such as pool, exercise room and golf. Reasonable price.

Panama Family vacation

I stayed there for a week with my husband, three kids, and my mother and there was space for all of us. The community is very nice..probably one of the nicest in the whole city. There is a golf course with a nice ( but expensive) restaurant. The pool there is sort of run down though. The condo was clean and had all the amenities you would need. It is directly across from a playground too. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked great (very important!) I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice place away from all the craziness of the city. But if you want to go to the city, it’s about a 20 min drive when it isn’t rush hour.

Great golf course but not quiet

On the positive side, we really enjoyed the free golf (just had to pay $17 for the cart); great communication with Rick; his onsite hosts, the staff, security and neighbours were all very helpful and friendly. The condo could use some upgrades but everything worked (except the dishwasher) and the place was clean and quite comfortable. The downside: despite being away from the city this is not a quiet place (constant truck traffic using engine brakes, barking dogs, gas powered equipment, etc.). The property is also somewhat isolated and the traffic getting in and out of there is crazy, especially early morning and late afternoon. If you do rent a car, beware of the rush hour traffic times and direction of flow of traffic on the highway.

Golfing Heaven

If you are an avid golfer, 🏌, couldn’t ask for better. Championship 18 hole layout. Stayed 2 weeks in January , and myself and my wife, golfed unlimited golf every day, with most days, during the week, the course pretty much to ourselves. Worked out an arrangement with the ProShop to rent a cart for the duration and could keep it right at the condo. The condo is a beautiful 3 bedroom property, in a very safe, secure Golf Community. Pretty much has everything you need, from a full kitchen, nice living room area with a compatible tv to hook up Netflix if needed and very comfortable beds. Huge balcony available and with the addition of some patio furniture, would be a great spot to sit during the evenings. Would definitely recommend having a vehicle, as there are no convenience stores in the area, with the closest being a 10 min drive from the Tucan. All in all, highly recommended, especially for the golfing enthusiasts.....The Golf Channel would be an added bonus for future considerations .

Ratings don't capture everything

By most standards, this is a great vacation resort. For us, a couple of things spoiled what could have been a perfect vacation: 1. Absence of internet access and the inability to recognize and fix it for the entire 7 days threw a wrench into our plans. They sent someone on the third day who left us with "you have to call the telephone company". 2. Language is a big issue. We needed a bilingual person's help while we stayed there. Check-in process took an hour because the details that could have been easily provided a priori were missing (there were none). 3. While the place was relatively clean, having both bathrooms flooded after every shower, wouldn't have kept it clean if we didn't mop up after every shower. Despite finding a dead roach and lizard behind the coffee maker and mixer, I would say the place was clean and well equipped for a tropical place. The kitchen is well equipped to have a light meal before heading out. There are plenty of towels and blankets and the laundry was handy to dry our wet clothes after an outing at the beach. 4. Location would have been perfect if not for the traffic you have to deal with to get in and out of there. For more about my general experience in Panama, read my blog post.

Great condo and location

Overall we had a great experience staying at Rick’s place. The beds were comfortable. My daughter enjoyed playing golf. We liked it a lot that we decided to extend our stay. I’d like to recommend his property! I’ll definitely stay at Rick’s place again!!

A Good Find Near the City

We live close to the Costa Rican border and decided to bring our 4 teenage neighbors to Panama City so they could learn more about their country and experience a very different scene! The person giving us instructions on how to find the apartment was very diligent during the day of arrival, met us at the house and went over everything we would need to know. The apartment is nicely decorated, very clean and we were very happy with our decision to pick this particular vrbo. Sincerely, Paul and Darilyn. Las Nubes, Panama

My Experience

Very nice property, spacious and secure. There was a couple of things I was not happy with, my linen was not clean in the master bedroom, we had a problem with the plumbing in the kitchen and bathroom but the support/response was quick.

Great Place for Golf!

We thoroughly enjoyed the place. It had all the amenities we were looking for including a BBQ and furniture on the balcony where we spent most evenings sitting out and enjoying the warm temperatures. The golf was fantastic. Very nice course, every hole is different and it was lots of fun to play. We rented a cart for entire stay which it made it very convenient to not only go out and play golf when we wanted but also go up to the club house to enjoy the pool and the restaurant. We definitely recommend this place!

Great Break from extreme cold temperatures!

We arrived around 10pm with another couple. We were met by Graciela our hostess, who gave us a run down about everything in the unit and where we could get breakfast in the morning and groceries. We were both(couples) surprise that there wasn't a pantry with staples--soap to wash dishes, toilet paper and kleenex etc, but we soon fixed that. We did notice and mention to Graciela that there was not many spoons and only 4 glasses. We found the location pretty good, as it was very quiet and peaceful. We spend evenings on the deck with the great furniture, we even used the umbrella to give us some shade when we sitting out in the morning after our walks. It was really interesting to be able to see the top of large ships go through the canal. The people at the golf course were great, then gave us free green fees and we just paid for rentals and the cart for each couple. The staff in the restaurant were wonderful and the food was great, we also enjoyed the pool area. We were without power for 18 hours so we spent the time at the club house, using the pool and eating in the restaurant (they had a generator). A few things I would recommend is that you need more glasses and should have some staples there. Also if people are coming late, it might be a good idea to see if they might need something to snack in after travelling . We traveled from 6 in the morning and would have been nice to have a snack and a cold drink available, the hostess could ask this and purchase the items and be reimbursed by the guests. We also had a problem with leaky taps and the shower and tub in the master suite over flowed. We did talk to the hostess and a maintenance man and they were going to look at getting it fixed, having to handy men for husbands helped with explaining how to fix. In all it was a great time and we really enjoyed our time there. The neighbours above us were great, the one day one of them took us to downtown Panama City showing us were to go and explore. When walking around the grounds people stopped and talked and told us different neat places to go and see. It was great! Would go and stay here again!!! The birds were amazing, took lots of pictures just off the deck!

If you want to golf. This is the place!!!! Great golf course with challenges. Close Uber to the city

Uber was about $7 one way. Place was clean and well kept. A little dated but nice place. Quiet and seems like a good community would definitely stay again.

It was great.

All went well the stay was awesome. The host Marcela was very helpful and present to our needs. She greeted us at the airport and escorted us to our location.The staff was very nice the security was proper and nice also. I do however wish the master shower were set up to keep the water inside the tub and not leak out to the floor. The stove needs maintenance but it will do the job. Other than that, everything was great we definitely would recommend this place to everyone and return if possible.

Mold/mildew in A/C unit caused us to leave after first night.

Unfortunately we did not find this unit clean - kitchen counters and floors had food/crumbs on them. There was hair in the master bathroom sink and counter(as if someone had cleaned an electric razor or trimmed their hair. But the worse part was the mildew and mold odor that was prevalent and caused my wife to be very sick (strong allergies to mold/mildew). Due to delays in our flights we arrived late at night, and decided to try it anyway, but by morning we had sore throats and my wife had a bad headache. Our only recourse was to relocate, which was extremely inconvenient. On top of that we were charged as if we stayed the full three nights! Would not recommend.

Very nice and quiet place to stay...If I'm back in Panama this is where I'm staying

My two adult sons and I was very pleased with this home. Very clean and extremely quiet place to stay which was needed after our trips across the bridge to Panama City. I'm a little disappointed we didn't meet the hostess (our flight and customs holdup) because many questions could have been answered. However, that's a little thing compared to the overall stay.
