My initial experience was horrible, but after talking to host and VRBO representative I was afforded comfortable accommodations and upgrade at no cost. The room I was given had a balcony and it was CLEAN! This place was across street from beach, had a mini fridge and coffee pot with tv inside only. There is an area on 1st floor that has microwave, coffee pot and water dispenser. Ooh yeah, balcony rooms are facing street so the car traffic during day can be loud but at night is is quiet. I will now stay here again.

The location was perfect and steps away from the beach. The room was awesome and loved the lounge/waiting area.Only couple things that I would’ve given a 5/5 would have been the code was tricky to put in and at one point we needed a new one the first night in. Also the fire alarm went off at 5am today and unsure what happened but communication could have been helpful. Lastly I messaged the host and received no response because I was hoping to add a room.. not huge things but outside of that would absolutely stay again we loved it.

Room was ok for the price. But there was no maid service. We were there for 2 nights with no clean towels or replacing in room coffee. Would not have mattered as when we tried to use the coffee maker it leaked all over the floor.

Host was good. Had trouble with our door key. Host finally had to unlock with a master and reset for us. Very tight parking. And TV went off a few times but came back on fairly quickly. Otherwise just as advertised. Was overall a good stay

Check in was super easy. Dude behind the counter just agreed to everything we said. I don't think he was paying attention lfmao. He didn't even laugh when we cracked a joke just said "yeah".

This location was pretty average. The check in process wasn't great. Our combo code didn't work after they sent us to our room which isn't a big deal but then they gave us a room with a TV that didn't have a working remote?? The room also felt kinda damp which is just part of staying somewhere near a beach but was still kinda annoying. Overall, nothing really negative but also not a ton that was super positive. So just an average experience.

The bed spread was so lumpy. I hope there’s a spot to add pictures here because when i walked in the room it felt like I should look around for video cameras because I though I was getting pranked. The bed was soft in a way that it felt more like a cot mattress than a hotel mattress. Although I had a view of the parking lot, which was expected, I wouldn’t have known it because the windows and screens were so incredible dirty. Even if I wanted to open the window to get the cool beach breeze in my room, I couldn’t. The location is good. You just have to cross PCH and you’re directly in the sand.However, you are too far to walk to Newport Beach pier and you’re definitely too far to walk to Huntington. It was a little isolated from the cool hang out places. I had a plan to rollerskate to Newport pier but it still was a little too long of a skate. There is a fabulous restaurant, Eat Chow, right behind of the hotel, which was excellent and it was the best part of my trip. There is a cool mom and pop bodega-liquor store next door that even carried socks (forgot to bring them for my skates). The bodega came in handy and definitely cool to see the old school vibe of the area.
