House was super nice and very clean upon arrival. Host was friendly. The only reason it’s a 4 and not a 5 is because of some slight communication issues but still highly recommend!

Good experience overall. It was perfect for a weekend away. Wasn’t too far from downtown where I had work events and nice and quiet at night.Master bath is very nice and lots of room inside and out.

Review of Huntsville VRBO Home – July 1–5We had high hopes for our stay at this Huntsville property, which was described as a charming home on the Flint River. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found that the condition of the home fell far below our expectations, and our trip was impacted by several issues.First, the grounds were in poor condition, with overgrown grass that obstructed access to the river. The outdoor patios were dirty, with visible bugs and cobwebs. Upon entering the home, we were immediately overwhelmed by a strong smoke odor. The smell was pervasive, and a few of our family members experienced respiratory discomfort and had to leave quickly. The downstairs and twin room were unusable for us due to the intensity of the smoke odor.The cleanliness of the interior was also concerning. The queen room sheets were stained with yellow marks and had visible dirt. The sheets in the master bedroom had hair and dirt on them. The floors, particularly in the main living and kitchen areas, were dirty enough that our feet and socks became filthy almost immediately. Additionally, the fridge and freezer were unclean, and we discovered that the ice maker did not work only after we'd gone grocery shopping. Kitchen utensils were also dirty, with one utensil having a bug on it, requiring us to run the dishwasher before we could use them.The kitchen had several issues as well: pots and pans were unusable due to scratched Teflon and food residue that wouldn’t come off, even with
