Wow. Definitely a lover's retreat. The cabin was exactly as advertised, everything was clean, and the stay was luxurious. This is a place for anyone wanting to rekindle or try something new in their relationship. Fast and friendly communication from the host. We cannot wait to return later in the year.

We had an excellent time! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway.The back deck was amazing — we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, watching TV, with the fireplace right there. All of the extra details throughout the cabin made the stay even more fun, especially the games and other thoughtful touches.Communication with the owner was very easy. They responded right away, were always available if we needed anything, and were incredibly kind.Check-in and check-out were extremely simple. They had a book right on the table when we walked in with all the instructions and answers to any questions we might have had, which made everything so easy.Although there were other cabins nearby, this one was surrounded by a lot of trees and felt completely private. The property itself was beautiful, and the cabin was just as lovely.I would absolutely recommend this cabin for any couple wanting to get away for the weekend.

Rekindled Passion in the Perfect Escape

I planned this stay at the Red Room as a surprise for my spouse, and it was everything I hoped for and more. Where do I even start with this beautiful and unique cabin!! 2 days of pure bliss spent hiding away in the mountains with my better half is just what we needed. This cabin literally had it all. From the new looks, the cleanliness, the secluded back porch, the hot tub and sauna, the “adult areas”, the variety of games, to the shower and tub, place literally had everything you need to rekindle and reignite that spice and fire in your relationship. I’ve been to many cabins in the area over the years and this one is by far my wife and I’s favorite place we have stayed at so far. I can truly say if we come back to the area just for a couples only getaway, we will 1000% be booking here again. I will add we even had a minor issue with something at the house and the response was so professional and hands down should way we will definitely be coming back here! 5 stars out of 5 stars for sure! Don’t have any doubts about taking the chance on this place, just do it!!!

Our stay and communication with the owner was not pleasant. They took between 6-7 hours to respond to message about electrical issue. They were traveling and didn’t have service for hours while we had an issue at their place…and they don’t have a backup person when they aren’t available. So we waited hours with no repair and til 10pm for the maintenance guy to leave with no repair. Owner wanted to interrupt our stay a 2nd day for the electrician…no…we didn’t allow it. We feel had they answered even in 2 hours from the noonish message we sent them the maintenance guy and electrician could have been in and out in one day….that’s acceptable. But 2 days interrupting our stay is not. The owners repeatedly said “but they were traveling, no service”..cool but someone has to be there to answer messages in a decent timeline. They never offered a credit…I had to ask after 2 days of messages and he gave 70. Anyway…cute place…just our communication and expectations 100% don’t jive. Suggestions: change the firepit to wood. The propane firepit doesn’t put out heat and IMO is a waste of . Most people come with wood or they buy it down the road. Save yourself . And better communication…other than that they have a goldmine but communication when a guest is inconvenienced needs to be better. The whole thing just killed the vibe the owners are trying to offer.

For clarity, once service was restored, we contacted our maintenance professional immediately, who came out on a Friday evening to troubleshoot the issue. He was on-site for approximately an hour. When the issue could not be resolved at that time, we offered to have a licensed electrician come the following day, but we fully respected your decision not to allow further entry during your stay. We’d also like to clarify that our communication was meant to provide context as to the brief delay in response while traveling through an area with limited service, not to deflect responsibility. Throughout the situation, we remained sympathetic to your frustration and worked to offer reasonable solutions, including a goodwill credit for the inconvenience. We appreciate your comments regarding amenities and communication and will continue to use feedback like this to improve. We’re glad you found the cabin itself enjoyable and regret that this situation affected the overall vibe of your stay.
