1/5 — Falsely Advertised, Completely Disappointing — Do NOT BookFamily of 4 First-time visitors to EgyptI don’t even know where to begin. Out of everything we experienced on our entire trip to Egypt — and we did a LOT — this apartment was hands down the worst part. That is saying something, because Egypt itself was amazing. This property was not.FALSE ADVERTISING FROM THE STARTThis unit is listed as a luxury apartment. I want to be very clear: there is absolutely nothing luxury about it. It is old, outdated, and tired. The photos are completely deceptive and do not reflect the actual condition of this unit. We felt misled the moment we walked through the door.ZERO WELCOME, ZERO ORIENTATIONNo one from Vesta, the management company, met us at the property upon check-in. Not a single person. As first-time visitors to Egypt, we had no idea how to operate the stove. That information would have been nice. A simple walkthrough — standard practice for any reputable vacation rental — did not happen.BASIC AMENITIES WERE BROKEN OR NONEXISTENTNo hot water in the kitchen or the upstairs hallway bathroom. All four of us were forced to share a single working shower. The WiFi was down the majority of our stay, and on the rare occasions it worked, it could only support 2 devices at a time — completely unacceptable for a family of four.
