While we strive to provide seamless stays, occasional maintenance issues can arise—especially in mountain properties—and we address them promptly. We offered relocation and sent a technician immediately, and I’m glad the issue was resolved within the first couple of days. As for compensation, we don’t typically reimburse for short-term disruptions that are resolved quickly, especially when alternative accommodations are offered. Regarding the fire hydrant near the driveway, it’s a city utility fixture and not part of the property itself, but I’ve flagged it with the appropriate department.
