Welcome to a truly one-of-a-kind beach retreat—where modern luxury meets timeless coastal nostalgia. Thoughtfully renovated with careful attention to detail, this home blends the charm of the ’70s and ’80s with the comfort and style today’s travelers expect.

Wake up to stunning waterfront views of Little Lagoon, visible from the main living areas and the private heated and cooled pool, perfect for year-round enjoyment. The property offers nearly 100 feet of waterfront on Little Lagoon, complete with a small white-sand beach—an ideal spot for relaxing, launching kayaks, or watching the sun set over the water. Brand new pier and boat house!

With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, the home easily accommodates up to 12 guests, offering generous common spaces and a well-equipped, oversized kitchen designed for gathering.

Step outside and experience the unique character of the surrounding area—an inviting blend of preserved history, natural beauty, and classic coastal spirit. Plenty of outdoor seating with a porch swing, tall Adirondack chairs and picnic table on the porch, as well as several other Adirondack chairs, and a second picnic table under the house. Several pool loungers and table and chairs also await on the pool deck. For adventure, enjoy the kayaks, paddleboard, and bicycles provided, or hop onto the picturesque bike trail just across the street.

Great place for a relaxing stay. Everything you need and loads of room for a group. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we could stay longer. We will be back!

Exceptional value. Huge open common area. Property was immaculate. Host responded to every need within minutes. Stocked with plenty of garbage bags, dish soap, etc. Private pool, dock, and "beach" perfect for children. Check in/out was easiest ever. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this house and had the best stay. The location was perfect — peaceful and quiet, but still convenient to everything. The home was incredibly well appointed, with thoughtful touches throughout. In addition to things like the kayaks and paddle board as listed, it was stocked with all the little comforts that made it feel like home, from extra blankets to well-stocked kitchen supplies and more. It was truly a joy to stay here, and we would happily return.

This was the perfect place for our family of 8. Plenty room! Perfect family game nights in the evening!! Very relaxing, waking up in the morning with stunning views on the back porch while enjoying a cup of coffee. We also got to enjoy the kayaks, paddle board, and bikes provided. The biggest plus was having our own private pool away from all the riff-raf (jk) really... This property is away from all the congested high rise condos and traffic but close enough for shopping at the Foley Outlets and or the The Wharf in Orange Beach and restaurants!The hosts, Paul and Savannah were amazing, very communicative with every detail to the property and area! Highly recommend booking Tide & Timber for your next family beach vacay!!

The kitchen felt like home kitchen. It had everything you would need. The whole house was cleaned top tier. The host was excellent always responded right away. The pool was great cleaned and warm. It’s was a great experience, we will book again.

The pool was really nice and having the kayaks and paddle board was a plus. We played lots of cornhole as well. House was so well updated and clean we enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back. It was also nice having the beach just a short drive down the road. A beach that was not busy or packed with people. Our teenage boys loved the pool table. Kitchen was well stocked with spices, plates and cups. Plenty of pool towels. Great hosts that were in constant communication with us.

This home and location are extraordinary finds. We have vacationed through VRBO houses for 10 years and this tops our list. Normally for our trips south, we are beachfront on the Gulf. This home is on the inlet and gave my grandsons opportunities to kayak, paddle board, and jump into the water from the end of the pier. All good times! The pool area is well maintained and comfortably arranged. The balcony area has several seating options and a calming view for morning coffee and afternoon chats. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with table and countertop seating. There are two living areas nicely arranged for visiting or watching the World Cup. The pool table was a hit and prompted a family tournament during our stay. The beds are comfortable, the day bed in the front living area provided a good night's sleep for a grandson, and extra blankets and pillows were in the rooms if needed. The owner provided timely, clear, and thorough information and instructions. This is a home we highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

We can't say enough about our stay. Paul was the best host I have ever worked with on VRBO. He hustled to get us in early knowing we were driving down from Wisconsin without it even being requested. He took care of any issues that came up quickly, a few times before we even noticed. Paul was responsive and just a pleasure to work with.The house itself was amazing, it was so quiet and the view is amazing. The outside seating provided was comfortable and allowed everyone to spread out. The pool table and pool were big hits for our family. Spring break with a heated pool was a must and the kids never left the pool unless they were forced to. The small beach in front of the house was great, it allowed the kids to get in the water and change things up a bit.If you are looking for a quiet location away from the business of Gulf Shores this one is for you.

Overall great trip! Wonderful host and fabulous property. It had everything you can imagine - pool, kayaks, bikes, pool table, beautiful dock to fish off of, and access to the little lagoon (which the kids loved). Very clean. Gulf Beach access was just a short little drive to a great quiet location. Absolutely recommend this property.

Tide & Timber is an excellent vacation home. Paul did an amazing job making sure all of our accommodations were met. He was available at all times if we had questions before and during our stay. He even checked in on us making sure we were good or needed anything. I would highly recommend Tide and Timber! We hope to be back next year!

Hi! We are Savannah and Paul Hannon, the hosts of Tide and Timber.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Paul is a lifelong Alabama Gulf Coast native and grew up spending summers on Little Lagoon. Like many families in this area, we find Little Lagoon to be a little hidden gem nestled amongst the higher traffic and tourist areas of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.

This stretch of Little Lagoon has been mostly family-owned by local families going back several generations. When Savannah and Paul bought the home in 2025, they wanted to preserve the nostalgia this property has to offer while updating it make it comfortable for today’s travelers.
