We just spent the Christmas week in this amazing property! One reason I had chosen this place was because past reviews mentioned the owner had set up a Christmas tree and other holiday decorations - all true and decorations were lovely.The flat was spotless and spacious - huge rooms with high ceilings. Decor and furniture made it feel like a home. Other positive factors included: location was great - walking to Princes Street area as well as very close to the Botanical Gardens; lots of little pubs, shops and a large Tesco close by; kitchen was fully equipped and large; location was very quiet; the owner Kate was very attentive and we exchanged many e-mails; there was an information book provided with comprehensive facts about the flat as well as info about the area that was tremendously helpful. We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many VRBO's. This this property is now at the top of my "best" list. I would stop your search here and just book it!

Wonderful Apartment

Wonderful apartment; superb location & great hosts. Our family had a hugely enjoyable stay in Edinburgh in this well-appointed, characterful property at Bellevue Terrace. Ideally located (Stockbridge, Newtown and Royal Mile all close by) & the perfect spring board to find whatever takes your fancy in Edinburgh.

A proper Scottish apartment!

LOVED IT! We loved everything about our stay at 1 Bellevue Terrace. The location is great, quiet and residential, yet just a ten minute walk to the Royal Mile. The apartment is beautiful, just like a place that a character from a Hallmark movie would live in! And a Christmas tree! What a nice touch! The owners were 100% responsive, before, during, and after our stay. Stay here, you will love it as much as we did!

A wonderful space

This beautiful, well appointed apartment was a delight to stay in. Soaring ceilings and luxurious window coverings evoked a grander time, yet the modern kitchen kept our experience well grounded in the present. Our host controlled the heat remotely and we asked that the temperature be raised. Unfortunately, as three seniors in our seventies and eighties, we continued to find the apartment quite cold.

Summer in Edinburgh

My family and I stayed in this beautiful property during the last phase of our 2 weeks in the UK. The property was HUGE and very comfortable for our family of 4. It is ~20 mins walk to get to the Royal Mile and an easy walk everywhere. We loved the neighborhood feel that allows us to get away from the crowds. Would recommend this spot to anyone staying in Edinburgh.

A Lovely Flat in Edinburgh

Brilliant flat

The flat is very tastefully decorated. Kate is very easy to communicate with, and I had no issues with my stay. It’s in a great area of town and I highly recommend this place. I will have no problem staying again when I come back to Edinburgh.

Great Place And Very Walkable

The apartment was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We used Uber a few time going to the royal mile and bus station due to rain and wind which was 5 minutes away. We walked back to the apartment each night from old town at most 15 minutes downhill. Nice restaurants very close. Market close for stocking up on food. Comfortable beds and quiet location. Nice bathroom, comfortable tub. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. We used the clothes washer also. I would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at the flat at 1 Bellevue Terrace. The pictures don’t do the flat justice. It is very comfortable, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The location was easy to hop on buses and close to restaurants and grocery stores. We loved staying there and look forward to staying again in the future.

Great property

The apt was lovely. Plenty of room so that 4 adults were not running into each other. The only downside that I can see was our own. As we were not wlkers we had to take uber into Edinburgh as it was to far for some of us to walk.. Otherwise I can't say enough good things about the apt.

Great Getaway

I highly recommend these accommodations in Edinburgh. The apartment is centrally located with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment is beautifully furnished and well maintained. I loved that the owners gave recommendations for restaurants and shops in the area. So helpful! We will be back in the future.

Gorgeous Property!

This property is more beautiful in person. It is huge! Was spotless. Very clean and safe neighborhood. Very close walk to a Tesco grocery store and a wonderful place to get breakfast/coffee called Crumbs with very sweet staff. It was the perfect beginning to our trip. The walk to the city center is about 20-25 mins but is easy and feels very safe. It is also very easy to get an Uber or taxi if that is preferred. Check-In was super easy. We would absolutely stay here again. The only downside which was minor was no dryer (which seems to be common in Scotland/Ireland) but there were plenty of hangers and places to hang things to dry (bathroom has a great towel rack). This place is gorgeous and we felt so safe!

Canonmills beauty

We had such a great time at this incredible unit. Everything on one floor was a plus. All rooms were huge. We were on an almost 3 week vacation and stayed at MANY VRBO sites and this was by far the most clean, elegant and amazing unit. many great restaurants and pubs nearby and the welcome guide gives many good recommendations. We loved O'Conner's pub, 2 min walk from unit and very family friendly plus 500 whiskies to choose from. We went there 4 out of 5 days and always felt at home. The manager checked up on us when we arrived, very thoughtful. This unit is a must stay. Thank you

Perfect Base to explore Edinburgh

Huge apartment in a quiet area of Edinburgh but close enough to walk or taxi to the main places of interest. Apartment is completely on one level, no stairs which is wonderful when one late seventy years old.

Great apartment great location

The apartment is lovely, very spacious and well equipped, and the location is great. We ended up going out mostly in Bonnington locally. Great bar very close to the apartment called Pickles - very busy and buzzy. Nice pubs and a good selection of restaurants in walking distance. A short walk to Princes Street. We had a great stay.

Excellent flat with plenty of space

The flat is beautiful! A wonderful two bedroom flat with more than enough room. We walked everywhere from the flat with ease and loved that it was close to grocery as well. Could not recommend it enough!!! Kate was a wonderful host as well and very communicative.
