This bright, modern laneway home is a quiet, self-contained retreat in East Vancouver, perfect for solo travellers, couples, or anyone in town for work. It's your own private little house, with its own entrance and an easy, comfortable feel throughout.

The main floor has an open, light-filled living area and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, and everything you need to cook a proper meal. Upstairs you'll find a comfortable queen bedroom, the bathroom, and good closet space. In-suite laundry makes longer stays simple, and there's air conditioning for warm days and heating when it cools off.

Step outside and you're on a friendly residential street, a short walk from Nanaimo SkyTrain on the Expo Line, which puts downtown Vancouver about 25 minutes away. Kingsway's shops, cafes, and restaurants are just a couple of blocks south, with Commercial Drive and Trout Lake an easy trip to the west.

Whether you're here for work, a getaway, or a longer stay, it's a relaxed, private home base with quick transit into the city. We'd be glad to host you.

Very quiet neighbourhood, about a 10 minute walk from the train. Clean and comfortable. We didn't prepare meals but the basic equipment was there for simple cooking. It would have been nice to have coffee included for the coffee maker. Enjoyed our stay.

Finding the VRBO, and check-in instructions were very easily laid out for us. Everything was very clean and easy to find within the kitchen. Remember to bring your own coffee grinds and filters should you want coffee. The clothing storage cubby was very helpful so our clothes wouldn’t get wrinkly. The location was also a convenient walk to the sky train to get downtown quickly. Jeffrey was very communicative and easy to reach as well. We would definitely stay here again!

a sweet little laneway stay

. rental price was reasonable. owner was very helpful and prompt with communication. suite is self-contained, 2 story, newly created(?) renovated(?), excellent condition. very clean and comfortable. well stocked kitchen re: cooking utensils etc. duvet is much too hot for summer, it would be nice if there were lighter blankets for options. cleaning costs seemed high. suite centrally located in E Van. we enjoyed staying there

The appartment was looking like the pictures. It is not mentionned explicitly but you have the whole appartment and some towels and shampoo are provided. We enjoyed the location: close to the train and with plenty of Evo cars around. However the communication with the host was bad: we alerted him the night we arrived that the fridge was not working, the fire alarm was constantly beeping and none of the electric outlets upstairs were working. He acknowledged but did nothing so we had to throw away a lot of food because we were not able to store it in the cold from one day to another.

It is a nice unit. However there were no instructions inside the suite (in past cases where I stayed a bit longer I would write an instruction page if I had access to a printer, and leave it behind for the next visitor). As a result I could not figure out how to open the dishwasher. It took me a while to find the cutlery, and the ground floor toilet did not have a toilet seat. They also did not have access to local TV stations, only the TV manufacturer stations (very limited).
